Devin Bush

He made some plays. The hold at the end was ticky tacky. But, still he hasn't looked anything like a 1st rounder, let alone a top 10 pick. He should be fully recovered from his knee by now. Then again, we have no DL other than Heyward to keep Bush and Schobert clean to do their jobs. We need a big ******* NT.
 
Poor fit for what they have up front. Had to move to Spillane for run downs. Pair with Shoebert. Spillane has minimal pass responsibility. When you get to pass downs Bush can come in.
 
Devin was not the correct Devin for us to move up for. Five more spots up to number 5 for Devin White. He’s the stud, ours is the dud. I realize to move up five more spots would have gotten too expensive but might we have better been served to not move up at all? This sure was not a good move to move up for this guy, he constantly over pursues plays, is out of position, makes stupid mistakes, is not as fast as he was rookie year, and to be honest, he’s not even just average.
 
He is soft. He is over rated.
 
I had to get ******* ****-faced for him to make a few plays.

I just can't maintain my marriage and lifestyle if he remains a middle-linebacker for the Steelers. I'm not getting enough compensation.

Hated the pick. Trading up for a midget with poor instincts who never was a difference maker in college is pure Tomlin. Allways thinking he is smarter than.he is and picking outliers against the odds for success.

They were not going up that far. But I do remember the two Devins and it isn't close. White moves better and is 25 pounds heavier.
 
From day one, good knee and bad knee, he could never wash off a block. Poor strength and vision with poor angles and his speed can't make up for that.

After watching his play today he should contemplate a career change. Seeing how well he avoided the ball carriers despite them running right at him I think he could end up a HoF'er as a Matador! Devin BusT!
 
I'd be more pissed about Minkah than Bush . Minkah was straight up trash most of the game. Only ones worse? O coordinator and the head coach.

They momentarily looked like they might use Minkah other than a 40 yard deep safety but pretty much gave that up.
 
Bush also tackles weird. He can slow up a guy, but someone else has to come make the tackle. He's just a bust.
 
DK on sports has a couple of Vids that make you wonder "what the hell is going on out here"

If this example is indicative of his entire body of work; he is hindering more than helping. Move Schobert over, put Spillane in. Let him sit until he gets healthy (INJ v. DEN)or his mind right.

Maybe that was the plan.......

He looked decent pre injury 🤕. Now not so much. The jury isn't out but he is trending in the wrong direction. He is a flow LBer he won't be blowing players off blocks. He needs a top DL to keep him clean and right now the Steelers are a few men short. Time to invest in the Dline.
 
Bush is a bust he’s a Steeler linebacker FCOL taken in top ten he should be sending his measurements to the HOF for his gold jacket! With Heyward in front of him, watt beside him, fizty behind him he should be ripping the league apart like shaz was… he ain’t.. he ain’t even close… Detroit as picking him out! The lions! He too fricken small period.. 6-3 230 ish awesome 5-10 210 not so much… you would hope they could salvage him by moving him to safety but he’s too slow… bust. We have a couple first rd busts to deal with this off season guys that should be really making an impact just aren’t…
