I think I saw that the only way the Chargers make the playoffs is if they win out AND have the Steelers lose 2 games, the Bengals lose 2 games, and the Rats lose one game.

The offense has such an advantage these days. Qb's beinag able to throw over the middle without their wideouts getting lit up and Dbs being unable to disrupt patterns means that QB rhythm isn't as easily offset by eating TOP with long drives. Its just stupid to try to run clock with any real time left against any qb with any passing skills these days. no lead is safe. if you can score 50, you score 50. its sad but defense is dead.

In a lot of cases Chargers are the 6 seed if they win next week. the bengals can screw that up with a win this week and a loss next, but SD has the tiebreaker on the ravens and play the chiefs
