Husband: I scolded some guy on the internet for making an observation because I'm a generally unhappy weirdo that has to have everything the way I like it.
Wife: I want a divorce. You're such a loser.

Exactly. I don’t understand what he doesn’t understand. 3 and 12 you should make the stop. If we had and didn’t take the time out he would be bitching about not taking it.We stop them we get the ball back with time to score. Why not?
Did you suit up yesterday??? What number did you wear??? What position did you play??? How many snaps did you get??? Did you take an ice bath w/ Elandon Roberts after the game???Are you stupid?
Yaaaay!!!!Never seen a site go so ballistic when a new thread was started. Is grandpa being waken up from a deep, slobbering sleep everytime a thread that he has to check is started?
I won't start any more since there are some REAL anal-retinant stiffs here.
Did it really need its own thread?
He likes his men muscular huh. I won’t judge him…Did you suit up yesterday??? What number did you wear??? What position did you play??? How many snaps did you get??? Did you take an ice bath w/ Elandon Roberts after the game???

Nice! I bought more pep0ered bacon today. Life is good7 pieces of
Kentucky Steeler, keep posting that’s why we’re here but seriously, the timeout really wasn’t that big of a deal when it happened.
Tomlin did a good job today much better than the last Brown’s game. **** happens so fast out there on the field and decisions have to be made quickly. Sometimes it’s the wrong decision but it’s not just exclusive to Tomlin, all these guys have bad calls.
Imo the timeout wasn’t that big a deal.
I think he might very well have a clue as to what to do. You do not luck into 10-3 to often in this league.Definitely not a big deal, but a mistake you rarely see at the pro level unless it's Tomlin with the clock winding down. He has zero clue what to do.......STILL.

Another week, another clock management head scratcher.
We had them in a 3rd and 12. We had them on the ropes. So......we call a timeout and let them gather themselves. We could have called the timeout after 4th down if we had held on 3rd and then wanted some time to move the ball again. We would have had all kinds of time.
I posted in the first half as soon as it happened when the game was totally undecided. GTFO. I notice nobody can defend that stupid TO.
More like Pikeville, KYIt appears your recall of the game is inaccurate. The TO by Tomlin was around 3:11 left in the first half. It was AFTER Cam’s sack on second down, setting up the 3rd and 12 on CLE 39 for which you are referencing. As previously mentioned, it was the right call. Stop them on 3rd down “we” either stop the clock with the 2nd TO or incomplete pass. If successful, Russ gets the ball back for the 2 minute offense with one, possibly two TOs remaining to increase our lead. That’s Clock Management 101, per Andy Reid. Unfortunately, Winston got the 1st down anyway and moved the ball down to PIT’s 20.
Now Tomlin’s 2nd TO was made after another 2nd down with about half a minute left. It was called to check CLE’s formation. Romo had earlier mentioned Njoku was the primary target in the red zone at that down and distance. The defense then reset their formation for coverage and Winston threw an incomplete pass to who? Yep Njoku. That idiotic Tomlin coaching using that TO really **** the bed on that play. Put CLE into 4th and long, or kick a FG. Of which was missed by the kicker.
So even posting this thread in the first half was meaningless, as CLE didn’t score any points during the possession. So a win on that drive from the defense/ST. Seriously what were you bitching about then? Defense was shutting down the offense every possession after the first quarter. Oh I forgot, Tomlin is an idiot, can’t do anything right from coaching to front office work. Gheezus, if you live in Jacksonville, stop drinking the water.
