Sure he did, he failed to cover his mug after hop scotching on the field for that bonehead penalty. On the plus side, Edmunds also did not blow any coverages last night.

If asked about it Tomlin will be condescending and dismissive.
Points of emphases are not "pretty deep dives." Informing your team about what officials are going to be specifically looking for seems like common sense to me.There is only so.many scenarios you can consider. No one running on the field who is not playing is a pretty deep dive.
Sure you can.I can just about guarantee it was not mentioned by any team last week.
So I guess we an keep going back and forth with this. The reality of this is same as last week with Allen. And I cut Tomlin very little slack. He is not responsible for spontaneous acts of the players. He is responsible for what comes after. Now I suppose there are two possibilities here. They had a 20 min meeting about celebrations that look like they end the game and not coming on the field if you are not on. At which case Tomlin can sit him down and discuss it. He can't cut him because he didn't cut Allen. And Edmunds is like the 5th best player on the defense.Sure you can.

Or it was hardly or not mentioned and I guess Tomlin can say my bad.
Are we good now?
I felt something should have been Allen. That was selfish and beyond stupid. This with Edmunds I don't feel close to the same way. Anyone would know you cannot do what Allen did. Edmunds is a regular player. He was extremely excited with thinking his guy finished the game. I think this a pretty big nothing burger compared to last week. This Coaching staff seems to be way too little, too late on discipline items. Constantly the little things are biting them in the nut sack. That extends from the top in not holding accountability.
Are we just hiring ****-ing imbeciles that seem to be brain dead?
Salute the nation
No, I'm still wondering exactly how you could "just about guarantee" that not a single NFL head coach would bring up officiating points of emphases with his players. So I guess we an keep going back and forth with this. The refs were told to emphasize which players could take part in a celebration and which could not. I'm positive reminders were sent to the teams. But give me a break. When we win the game guys remember not to run onto the field. They have a lot of really important details to go over to win the ****** game. No, I'm still wondering exactly how you could "just about guarantee" that not a single NFL head coach would bring up officiating points of emphases with his players.
So, basically, your practical guarantee was a bunch of bullshit. I figured. What we actually can quantify is that no NFL team other than the Steelers got a similar penalty. The refs were told to emphasize which players could take part in a celebration and which could not. I'm positive reminders were sent to the teams. But give me a break. When we win the game guys remember not to run onto the field. This is exactly like when the reporter asking Belichick if they had talked about not throwing the ball backwards 30 yards in Raiders game. No they didn't.
Look, I don't want Tomlin coaching this team anymore. I haven't wanted him coaching it for 4-5 years. But I confine my criticism to things he can really control. Not an excited injured starter spontaneously running on the field. So in the end I cannot quantify how many coaches emphasized not running on the field. I can quantify that this argument is galactically stupid.
No coach was going to stop Edmunds. There is nothing they are going to do Edmunds. Nor should they. And they are either going to have to pay Edmunds or someone will. He has had his best season. And is normally a very disciplined player.
5th best on D?So I guess we an keep going back and forth with this. The reality of this is same as last week with Allen. And I cut Tomlin very little slack. Ohhhh Stryker hit the sauce a bit after? The podcast. Edmunds isn't better then Bush?. Bush still doesn't take a gap. Total package I'd say Edmunds is part of the 5 through 7 category and on any one day any of those guys couod be 5 or 7. However Ogunjobi is a rotational player. Jack has been pretty up and down. Their ILB as a whole isnt good at all. Edmunds has been basically solid to really good all year. I think there is a good argument for Sutton but Edmunds plays the run really well and to my eye has not surrendered many receptions. So 6 maybe? Not a chance his play has been lower.5th best on D?
1. TJ
2. Heyward
3. Fitzpatrick
4. Highsmith
5. Sutton
6. Ogunjobi
7. Jack
8. Bush
9. Edmunds
10. Wallace
11. Adams
I can see an argument for 7th best, but I'm splitting hairs...
I would move Edmunds and Wallace over Jack and Bush. In regards to Jack and Bush I am not really confident in either. Not even overly confident in their pecking order.5th best on D?

I agree with this list. I probably overlooked Sutton when I had Edmunds that high. Now saying that Sutton has a lot of plays on the ball because they throw around him. I think Edmunds is just kinda covering his guy and they aren't throwing at him a ton.1.TJ - only one based on how valuable he is to the D. Those injuries dipped into overall performance.
2. Heyward - has an argument for 1
3. Fitzpatrick- has an argument for 2
4. Highsmith- ok with 4th
5. Sutton- Solid overall but not a number 1 corner
6. Edmunds- solid season
7 Ogunjobi- could be higher if he didn't rotate as much.
8. Wallace Ok for a number 2 corner
The rest had their good and bad. Not really enamored with Spillane,Bush, Mack, or Adams. All can be upgraded. Obviously you can't upgrade three ILbers one offseason. So Spillane probably will be resigned and hopefully Bush is upgraded in free agency.
This is a good list but I put Ogunjobi over Edmunds. Ogunjobi has made more impact plays in fewer snaps.1.TJ - only one based on how valuable he is to the D. Those injuries dipped into overall performance.

Larry is a good nose. He is on the field about 55% of plays and any run is going to be around his gap about 60% of the time. He is going to make more plays. Edmunds has missed very few opportunities to make a tackle. Many of which were just great sticks, some that ended drives. I view Edmunds coverage like Bush's. no news is good news. Bush has been equally good in coverage that way. No interceptions and few breakups, but the Qb has to go elsewhere. He is doing his job. The thing is he still doesn't take his gap on run. Sometimes I wonder if the Steelers play gap cancel the way they play. There was a run last week early. Spillane went to the garbage pile where there were at least three teamates and a whole lot of nothing. He vacated his flow gap responsibility and the guy walked through it on the cutback. Just brutal. This is a good list but I put Ogunjobi over Edmunds. Ogunjobi has made more impact plays in fewer snaps.
Yeah I thought about his impact plays. I probably docked him too much for being a rotational player. They both had decent seasons. In that aspect I hope they are both back...This is a good list but I put Ogunjobi over Edmunds. Ogunjobi has made more impact plays in fewer snaps.
