ESPN crew Horrible!!!

Between Levy and his rant and then Griese and his crying the blues about obvious penalties.. False starts and off side is right there in front of you . Besides they could have thrown at least three more off sides. Call the game just like ESPN college experts call the game. Even after the game Ben takes the team 55 yards to win and all about the losing QB, who had his way in second half against a secondary that should hang their heads with the no coverage defense.

espn screwed hockey for the first couple of weeks, too. It's improved. Maybe they can fix the nfl nonsense now.

I quickly had enough of listening to the political/social commentary while the game was ongoing. I switched the audio to Wolf, Bill H, and Max and muted the TV.

You should hear the Bear fans, they ate the BS from the announcers up. Complaining about the officiating. Fields won't get that call, only Brady and Rodgers gets those calls. I was surprised Ben got the roughing the call. I thought the RT of the Bears false started all the time. If it's a penalty, it's a penalty. This is why I don't watch ESPN unless their is a game on I want to watch. I've felt this way for 20 some years. They need to redo the whole company.

I watched the post-game show on nfln for a minute...but it was weird. They only talked about Fields and how great he was....and that Cassius taunting call.

Odd that no air time was given to the egregious no-call on the helmet to helmet hit on Boz that sent him flying into concussion protocol last week...not a ******* peep. No flag, no fine, no problem.

But when one ******* play goes our way...holy hell. Face it, the NFLost is the WWE and the Steelers are the "heel".

Anyone notice how when the replay showed the runner HAD the first down when he went out of bounds (It was us, of course) it was ******* crickets in the booth, but EVERY other call they went on and on about. Not to mention Ben getting ******* robbed on his run with that dogshit spot.

**** those ********, they have sucked all ******* year, and to top it all off they were ******* Bears homers last night, **** every on of those talentless hacks.

Yeah that was Washington...when I watched in live I thought it was a 1st...the replay confirmed it...not a peep

Seemed to me that their RT was a bit quick out of his stance on almost every play. Never called though. Or maybe I was just seeing things. I had a few drinks in me throughout the game.

He kept harping on the number of penalties called on each team as if they should be even. I could maybe get it if the penalties were a bunch of subject*ve holding and pass interference calls. We’ve all seen the Pats get away with holds. But the bears kept lining up offsides. These weren’t judgement calls.

they cried about late hit on Fields. There were really only 2 possible calls. One where Fields went down very late and even their rules guy said it was a no call. The other was a possible call where Highsmith took 2 steps and put a slight hit on Fields, who the hit the ground like he was shot and played dead.

The Marsh taunting call was absolutely correct. I have seen similar calls in multiple games this year. The NFL made it a point of emphasis. Besides, Marsh was absolutely taunting. The play was well over and he is walking towards the Steelers sideline and taking ****. That is EXACTLY what refs were told to penalize, directing things at the opposing bench of being in the face of a player.

Then this *** clown tells America that the last FG hit the crossbar when it was short by like 10 yards.
hahahahaha.

spot on.

In TJ WATTS post game interview he noted the tackles early starts and didn't go all ape on it but said it definately is an advantage for them but he just deals with it because what are you going to do ? He did say he let the refs know a couple of times. They were doing it near all game.

I thought I was watching a racial justice and equity seminar, then realized it was the Steelers game. As to the douchebag ESPN announcers, maybe they haven't heard but officiating has been a problem for the past 7 or 8 years.

I am almost afraid to tell them Kennedy was shot.

I know all fans think announcers hate their team but this was really over the top. They kept crying about penalties but most of them were pre snap offsides calls.
This is why I turn the sound off and listen to music...for many years.

AS I watched a replay today I find it interesting that ESPN coverage never shows replays from six different angles. The one pass at end of game for Chicago where they went ahead, was very close to receiver of Chicago stepping out of bounds. They never showed any sideline replay. Bens run on third down did not show one replay or even different angle where the ball was when knee hit. Just ignored the play ignored the fact under two minutes why was it not reviewed on a critical down and play. Griesy was still concerned about the penalties. They got on a role about Chicago QB , as if Ben was nothing with time on clock. THese three have to be among the worse Monday Night Football crew.

I never, EVER thought it'd type this, but these idiots make me miss Booger McFarland in the booth, and that's saying something. They just suck, so ******* bad, week after week. I remember complaining about Al, Dan, and Frank from time to time, but holy **** has it gone downhill since those days.

I said this in last weeks Monday night thread. These are the worst group of guys ever on Monday night football. And that includes Rush and Dennis Miller! Every Monday, no matter who is playing they are god awful

I also thought on one of Harris' 3rd and short runs he appeared after replay to have all but a yard past the 1st marker but was marked about a yard short.

Would have been interesting to hear the Manning brothers on the alternate broadcast, but I guess they only contracted for part of the season and this was one of the ones they missed. Not sure who chose what games and why for them. I generally use the Steeler radio broadcast for audio. In all reality, the Sunday night game seems to have overtaken the Monday night game as the weekend's premier matchup. Heck, Monday Night Football can't even get on regular network TV. The times they are a changin'.

Literally every newsfeed, twitter implosion enthusiast, all youtube "stars" and every football show is on about this today for hours. Seriously, this happens multiple times every week but THIS INSTANCE...THIS PARTICULAR MOMENT...is the only one that matters...because it went OUR way. Holy Hell...the anti-Steeler bias is a special kind of real because Goodell hates the Steelers and Big Ben will always be the bad guy.

My only hope is that it makes people mad enough to stop lining these scumbags' pockets.

Last night's game was the only one I watched last weekend and I got the feed for free. :)

Same here JMM

I've weened from paying for just about everything TV associated. I pay for Paraount + about $10.00 a month. My daughter gave one of her 4 codes for HULU and my company pays for Amazon prime for the shipping convenience but I capitalize on the prime TV for free. I also bought a Samsung TV about 2.5 years ago and it allos me to stream Samsung TV which has about 169 channels for free. I obviously stream free stuff as well, YouTube for exaple.

Don't get me wrong, I ONLY make effort to watch STEELERS football but also catch headlines reading here and there.

Make no istake, Here at STEELERNATION.COM is where the action is and I get my daily / hourly / minutely "FIX" of Steelers football.
