The Pittsburgh Steelers General Manager Omar Khan finally ended the wide receiver saga on Tuesday. As the trade deadline approached, Khan executed a deal that sent a fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to the New York Jets. In return, the Steelers acquired wide receiver Mike Williams, a player they believe can bolster their receiving corps. The team has been searching for additional receiving talent for several months, and with this acquisition, the long-anticipated resolution has finally come to fruition.

Thielen I believe from reading tweeter. And if so, and Carolina wanted a 4th, I'm glad they didn't pull the trigger

Isn't our fourth in limbo because of the trade for Fields. Chicago can receive the Steelers 4th if he plays something like 40 percent (something in that area) so we can't move our 4th. Carolina must know this, they should of taken anything considering where they're going.

Khan trading for a receiver felt like every Pirates trade ever. A lot of talk for bringing in a big name talent and instead end up with a player off the scrap heap. Let's hope Austin continues to emerge as a legit second threat.

I just think circumstances played heavily in the trade. I think they in turn (Khan and co.) learned a lesson for the future. As he is basically getting his feet wet this year. I am referencing the boatload of low production WRs they initially brought in.

I think in the offseason they will attack the position as they will look to upgrade …

Read the article, it was Slayton from the Giants. No value listed as far as what was offered.

Salute the nation

If I had a dollar for everytime they mentioned us signing a "huge playmaker" we'd be signing I'd be a rich man.

I wouldn't say he's scrap heap material, but he's no Ayiuk. This guy can catch the fade in the EZ(if he's not injured...LOL)...that aint happening with CA3.
