I agree on many points, but disagree fundamentally on the question whether there is any palpable danger of America *ever* becoming a Communist state, in any way, shape or form. I don't - and never will - equate basic tenets of the Democratic party to communism. I view this as a boogeyman used by the right, a political propaganda tool to spread fear and disinformation. That does not diminish the very real wrongs and dangers of Communism itself. It is a failed political and economic model that's been thankfully eradicated around the globe, sans China & N. Korea.
