Here’s every Allar drop back. You can see he’s either immediately pressured or there’s nobody open on nearly every play. Not exciting but he generally made the most out of a bad situation. Like watching Penn State film.

I haven't seen one. I thought Howard's worst moment was the sack he took when Freiermuth was wide open up the seam for a huge gain. He needed to step up in the pocket.

Nah, just McCarthy saying that what happened on the INTs was one person (Wilson) made a mistake that led to 2 mistakes. Apparently Wilson was back to running lazy routes last night and Howard still tried to force the play as called even though Wilson made it unlikely to succeed. So, I guess there's that. Still doesn't absolve Howard. He should have noticed what was going on and threw the ball away.

He's turning downfield looking for the RAC. He needs to help his QB, but even with two good routes they're probably both still INTs or incompletions.

First Int, he drifted too deep on his route according to film gurus far more knowledgeable than I. This led to Howard throwing to the spot where he should have been which let the Safety undercut Wilson and get the INT.
Also, I don't think that McCarthy, who again is a guru far mor knowledgeable than I, would have described both plays as "one mistake leading to two" if he thought that Wilson's transgression wasn't the primary one leading to both INTs.

I can see that on the first int. The second one looked like Howard didn't put enough touch on it, but if Wilson was too deep that could also explain it. If the oline doesn't step up we might need all 4 QBs

Wilson is yet another wasted draft pick from the previous regime.

As a rookie he signed a 4-year, $5,745,168 contract.

That has translated into 12 receptions, 166 yards, and 2 TDs.

That's $479,000 per reception so far. Or $2.9M per TD.

Can't stay healthy, can't run routes, whatever the excuse may be, he hasn't produced. I hoped he would. I hope he will. But you know what they say about hope. It breeds eternal misery.
