I assume that everyone is following along with this extension of the eviction moratorium. Apparently, the CDC can just make laws now, and apparently Democrats are not only ok with it, they are basically daring anyone to try and stop them. And, I agree with the article I am posting about it, who is going to stop them? Who can? The Supremes ruled that the CDC does not have the right or the power to institute a nationwide eviction moratorium. And they are basically ignoring it and doing it anyway.
If I was a conspiracy theorist, I would say that the government is trying to bankrupt the owners of these properties whereby the government would swoop in and fill the void, thus beginning the end of private property. I don't own an apartment complex or a rental property of any kind, but I don't see how it is ok to protect the renter, but not the person that still has to make the mortgage payment. We are headed to a very dark place. Small apartments and government cheese for everyone.
