F*CK the Refs.

The government wastes trillions anyhow, they should probably just do a routine check into all pro sports refs just to make sure there really isn’t any funny business…

Of course the few times they’ve caught sports fixing, it’s been mostly by absolute accident or someone ratting them out… they really steer clear of it
The nba got caught. I still think funny business does happen. Too much money involved and a lot of big sponsors also involved. Rig the cards just right you see the $$$

If the team played better we would not be talking about officiating. It's a distraction to keep from looking at the reasons why the team is bad.

I am still torqued about the offensive offside call. Absolute garbage. I am blaming that call on BS woke equity hiring. You cannot tell me these female NFL refs were not fast-tracked to get on the field over much more qualified individuals. And here's the BS I'm talking about....offensive offside might be a rule but one you just would never see called unless outrageously blatant. The affect of that call in a weather game and points at a premium just would not be called by a man with an understanding of the game. Especially not on a 50+ yard field goal before half in weather....no guy is calling that penalty in that situation because they know the game enough that it would be just a horrible look to make on a silly inch. Not so for a raw new to the game ref. That helmet might have been an inch over the ball but c'mon, if you're calling that then you should be calling penalties on every single play for a variety of penalties. Just ridiculous.

Tge NBA got caught by accident… an FBI probe into a mobster inadvertently exposed the Donaghy stuff… and oddly enough when he was testifying to try to get a reduced sentence, he admitted that the NBA told refs to drag out series and to not call fouls on certain players… but that was dismissed in a really weird way… The FBI claimed he wasn’t lying, he just misunderstood the situation… that there wasn’t any proof that it was true, but its very odd how everything else he said was true, just not the stuff directly fingering the league…

Its just not for a field goal play regardless… and also for something like that an official is supposed to give a warning… it was just so bush league

I continue to say if you’re gonna hit the QB you may as well get your money worth and be physical. Not be dirty, but make it miserable back there. You’re gonna get a penalty either way in todays woke NFL league
The deck is stacked in the NFL’s favor. They know players will take that attitude, so they use fines to keep them in line. Accountability for the players, it NONE for the refs. I’ve known for a while that the NFL’s first priority is entertainment, but it’s being done at the expense of the game and with little regard/respect for fans’ intelligence. Im quickly reaching the point where I might just tap out. Becoming too much like WWE.

There was a screenshot showing the Jags defender was more offsides than we were. At worst should have been a redo. I do not blame that call on her being a woman I just think the refs stink. The PI, roughing / no roughing calls were not hers I do not think and to be fair the fumble was hard to see. "Being a man" should know Pierre played the pass perfectly. "Being a man" should know that was a form tackle on Lawrence and he didnt even put full weight on him. I know people hate wokeness, but the bad calls have 0 to do w/ refs being female. Bottom line is officiating in the NFL is not consistent. Man, woman, black, white, young, old it just doesnt matter. On the other hand its easy to blame the refs, but it is a very difficult job. You have large men moving at high speeds and have to make a choice in a fraction of a second. Only way to fix it is make more things reviewable. I would start with personal fouls, pass interference and any play that results in points or points being taken off. I would rather have a longer game and them get the calls right.

Uh, you know they fully got in bed with the bookies, right?

Check the betting lines. Your answer will be there.

The whole product is made for TV bullshit.. The NFL is a complete ******* joke when it comes to being a real sport.

It's about as legit as the pats****** dynasty. Which was complete bullshit.

This is exactly why I stopped watching the NFL. It's an unwatchable game. Phantom penalties, missed calls, penalties taking 60 seconds to discuss on the field, booth reviews, challenge flags, experts in NY chiming in on whether it was a catch or not, commercial breaks every 5 minutes....absolute *****!

Now mix in an inept HC who hangs his hat on being mediocre and fails to address an offense that is absolutely unwatchable, and it's not entertaining in the least.

I would say I was entertained for part of four wins and and not entertained through the remaining time period.

The offense is a really difficult watch week to week.

The nba got caught.

I used to joke about how bad NBA refereeing is by observing, "A ref was literally throwing games ... and nobody noticed."

The same is now 100% true of the NFL. Absolutely true. The league has so many penalties that rely so much on subjective interpretation that if an official took bribes to throw a game, nobody would notice - in fact a lot of "experts" and fans would point out why the calls were correct.

It wouldn’t have mattered if the refs were perfect. The only thing worse than the refs was the Steelers offense.

If they would have truly focused on the OL for a few years with the emphasis of establishing a real dominant running game with a great OL coach and OC, they'd be sitting pretty in the passing game.

Instead we get probably the worst offense I've ever witnessed as a Steeler fan. This season is pretty much a wrap already.

I think the chances are very high that we witness Mike Tomlin strutting and preening when the team ekes out a few more wins and he celebrates another 9-8 season and missed playoffs.

He' trying to overtake Halas, Belichick and Landry in the never a losing season category, or should I say most consecutive. 5 more years will do it.

Of course, Halas had 6 championships, Belichick has 6 and even Landry has more with 2.

I refuse to believe that's the case. Seriously, that is the most meaningless, useless, irrelevant, nobody gives a **** "statistic" in the history of sports statistics.

Personally, I believe that Tomlin's goal is to catch Noll's 209 wins as a Steelers head coach. 36 away.

I concur. He is definitely aiming for Noll… I think they give him four or five years to get it.

Let's see him actually build a champion and win 3 more superbowls to tie Noll. So far that's a big fat zero in building anything.
