When the heat is on Coach Clown will polish up his act for a game or 2, then right back to his old ways laying up another stinker to the loser Browns, who he repeatedly allows to get into the Steelers heads and play up to them for their annual Superbowl, instead of giving the losers a beatdown like every other team would do if the division was on the line. Another year, same old story. And how will the script likely end, Lamar bounces back next week and delivers the division title to the Ravens, and gets awarded the MVP. And of course, the NFL gets its Prime Time game.

Would you take a beat down by the Ravens, likely in a prime time tv spot, and miss the playoffs IF it means they finally fire Tomlin and Rooney steps down?

I have never rooted for a loss and won’t. But man if I knew that would happen if we lost I would be very conflicted.

If I knew that was the result....any day and twice on Sunday. They are picking up that option in March for '27 NO MATTER WHAT. Scared money apparently makes money.

It's not going to happen, but the coaches didn't have the players ready, and the coaches' (mainly Tomlin) schemes were terrible. Tomlin did his usual by not playing to win but playing not to lose. Way too conservative.

Players being ready was not the issue. Scheme and play calling was. It is as simple as that.

Tomlin had the mindset of not losing the game......Browns had the mindset of winning the game. This is what to expect if we happen to make the playoffs sadly. So why bother.

I get what you are saying but this particular game really came down to bad QB play. I am pretty sure Rodgers checked into some of these bad calls out of fear. I just can’t blame Mike for that. Maybe the first quarter defense will give him some heat for and the decision to not punt late. Boswell missing is also a huge factor in this game. As much as I love Boswell that miss was huge.

The play calling leading to tge sack on third down had a huge part in that.

And our first quarter offense has been a joke since Haley left.... first a multiseason streak of not scoring a td in the first, then a 60-some game long streak scoring a td or less in the first

That was a PATHETIC COWARDLY offensive game plan, we’ve seen it so many times we know who comes from.

You can’t seriously compare Tomlin to Cowher or Noll, he couldn’t carry their jocks

Metcalfs actions are more in the long line of undisciplined actions of players tolerated under Tomlin

Sanders is a horrible QB, he’s the reason the defense looked good

Mike Tomlin is HORRIBLE a complete disgrace

If they win next week and we all know the won’t but they will be underdogs at home easily by 6.5 and get crushed by buffalo 42-13….with last 7 points from Howard to Heyward with 20 seconds left in the game.
