F-I-R-E T-O-M-L-I-N!!!

They put no pressure on Sanders at the beginning of the game. They rushed 3-4 and dropped into zone. He was able to sit back and wait...yes the TD was a fluke, but the game plan allowed it to happen to begin with.

The offensive game plan is 100% on Tomlin. The plan wasn't "win the game" it was "don't let Garrett get a sack". We have no threat at WR, but are deep at TE, and we throw screens behind the LOS with no blocking that wide, we bust a big run play, abandon that. Get stuffed with the run? Double down on that... There was a 3rd and 4, we ran a deep top the offensive right, all the OL were downfield on LB, but no one blocked the 3 DB'S. Muth was there and he sealed the edge and there was no where to go.

Once again Muth is ignored until clutch tone, two monster receptions then ignored again...makes zero sense.
Yes but you have to at least give them credit for making defensive adjustments and shutting that **** down. Offense not so much. I get what they were trying to do early based on Sanders style of play. It didn’t work and the changed it up. The changes worked. The offense didn’t.

I disagree with them turtling. The defense made adjustments and played their ***** off. The offense **** the bed. Coach and QB mainly. I will blame them both for force feeding MVS. He sucks. Also **** DK one more time. **** the NFL as well. They got what they wanted. **** Tomlin for going for it on fourth. That is fully on him. The defense was playing well and we could have more time and better field position.
Nope.....they turtled 100%. Maybe our D made some adjustments....perhaps....why didn't our offense make any is the real question.

I'm not so sure. If they lose and again have no passing game next week, maybe Rooney is fuming about DK feeling he had the right to leave his bench to engage a fan last week and doubly fuming that his head coach defended him after.

If Rooney pulls the option and Rodgers retires, Mike might just walk. I think that's more likely that an out and out firing,
Well, if Rooney doesn’t give Shades the option year in 2027 that makes him a lame duck coach for the 2026 season.
Could get interesting!

We are going to discount completely the rest ther teams defense which is tops in the league? Again I give Tomlin some of the blame. He doesn’t make the bad throws. Rodgers played poorly you can’t argue that. He also almost got us to overtime but then locked into MVS. That is it on Tomlin as we saw AR talking to MVS before that last play. I fully blame Tomlin for the late 4/10 call. I blame him early for the defense to a degree. The Brows defense has been this good most of the year.

Should we make a change? Possibly, but this loss isn’t just on Mike.
This defense is ranked #27 in the league

Please list Rodgers bad throws today outside of the 4th and short which should never have been called

Blame bad play calling and a horrible WR room for the passing. In what world does Sanders go 3 quarters with more passing than Aaron Rodgers?

The buck stops with the head coach, today was pathetic, he wears it

Do you seriously want him back next year?

I think they did they just weren’t the right ones. Defense they worked they dropped the zone which wasn’t working and started bringing some different looks. They shut down the run lanes for Sanders and made him think more. The offense should have gotten more creative. I like Smith running out of the backfield more than I like him catching the ball. It worked then they never did it again. The run game was surprisingly productive at times but they checked off to it at bad times playing scared. The check downs are on Aaron the scheme is in the coach. Where were the deep throws to Gainwell.

I doubt he doesn’t but Tomlin may retire if he doesn’t. I could live with that. But I think we win next week. Rodgers will not play that bad next week. Just keep MVS off the damn field.

That’s why it’s a gut job. Not sure that a new regime could let their fans down like this one has. Ok let’s start with Khan, give me a draft pick from him that’s worked out. Picks Roman Wilson and Kaleb Johnson both third round picks both can’t get on the field because they are not good enough. Then you look at Herbig and Sawyer both with great potential but only see the field because Tomlin has his favorites and because of his stubbornness, they waste away on the bench. Which takes us to Tomlin. He brings in Smith, a man with no spine not guts and lives in Tomlins fear and Tomlin wants that. Tomlin keeps Austin. Why? The defense statistically stinks but yet he’s another guy who lives in Tomlins fear. And the reason Tomlin keeps him. You’ve all read the stories that there is no Tomlin coaching tree. Why? Because he’s kept crap that won’t challenge him. Just garbage after garbage in those roles. We all know Tomlin won with Cowher’s team and has deteriorated the team for many years. Gut this team from top down. A new regime can’t do worse.

The entire game plan sucked. Sorry. The middle of the field was there with a limp player. We didn't use it until Rodgers went hurry up. And then we gobbled up yards.

Check downs are what the dwsigned play calls for. And most of the screens were not check downs....they were the play.

Ben had to call his own plays sometimes to move the ball and Roger's does the same. What does that say about our OC....oh...GARBAGE

Honestly I am a bit disappointed this is the only fire Tomlin thread that was started. ☹️

Would you take a beat down by the Ravens, likely in a prime time tv spot, and miss the playoffs IF it means they finally fire Tomlin and Rooney steps down?

I have never rooted for a loss and won’t. But man if I knew that would happen if we lost I would be very conflicted.
If a Tomlin firing is guaranteed if we lose to the Ravens, I’m taking that loss without question. The Tomlin regime has completely sucked the life and fun out of being a Steelers fan. I really have no idea why I even still watch. I chalk it up to just some deep-seated subconscious need I guess, kinda like the zombies roaming the mall in Dawn of the Dead.

I just want to go back to wanting to watch and root for this team again. It won’t happen until Tomlin is gone.

If it walks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck........the Steelers scrapulate wins to some credit of Mike Tomlin. On the razors edge every single win
You show me any legit contender in the playoffs who hasn't beat a team by 24 at least once this year. Or better yet he talks about playing for a championship. Show me one Champion who doesn't knock the dicks off someone every three weeks. At any level of football. When was the last time the Steelers beat someone by 24?

I double posted this.....I must be really disappointed. 🥴

Simply an over rated stat....show me someone else besides Coach T that has 19 Tomlinship's.....from the start of his HCing career to boot!!!!!

Keep your head up high Coach T....we all love you!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

If they lose next week, Tomlin should be fired and DK should be cut.
I will agree on the firing. You get a capable coach he might just get more out of DK. You pair someone with DK that could get some of that coverage off of him.

So I agree with half of what you said..

I predict the crowd will be booing Renegade again next weekend followed by fire Tomlin chants.
But it really makes no difference if they somehow survive the Ravens, they will be summarily crushed by whoever they play in the first round
