Face it folks, you only have 2 choices...Hillary or Trump

It's apparent to me during this primary process, that being somewhat bigoted, loud and far-right is the only way to survive. Even Cruz and Rubio are doing it. And while you have to "act" this way, you simultaneously have to be malleable enough to not be too strict in any one demographic. Cruz is the evangelical radical. Rubio is the career politician, Washington elite.

Once you get through Super Tuesday, you have to soften your crazy right-wing rhetoric to survive the Northeast assault and general election process.

It's a tough find, especially ones with voting records and political history.

Trump is succeeding just as much for his ability to court strong, right-wing, religious conservatives but also, AT THE SAME TIME, kind of exude a bit of non-secular, moderate right wing principles (at least many hope he is really that). That's why he's winning 45% of Massachusetts republicans and 40% of Georgia republicans. That's kind of a rare combination in a field of 6+.

I don't know what the future of the Republican party will be, but the religious right has to somehow support a candidate early in the primary process that has a chance come March-April. Maybe changing the primaries will help. Getting rid of Iowa as the start would be my suggestion. Or have multiple states from different regions in each voting cycle. Not just one state.

The only one to have a chance right now is Trump. Cruz and Rubio would lose so badly it wouldn't even be a fight. Trump is the only one capable of getting the middle voter if he plays his cards right. But he has to get through the primaries first, which I think is bringing out the ugliness is all the candidates.

How does enforcing existing immigration laws make one a bigot?

It's not. Immigrant isn't a race.

But you can't deny some undercurrent of white frustration in the tone of ALL the candidates. Not just Trump. Tapping into white frustration (not all, but some, directed at other races) has been the major catalyst for voter turnout in this primary season.

Do I think some of that frustration is justified? Absolutely. I feel it too. But eventually, on a national level, that has to soften a bit and you have to have some policies that aren't so apparently white-first. Right now, Trump's written plans are much more soft and common sense than his SPOKEN rhetoric.

In my opinion, once he's through the primary where being loud and obnoxious separates you from the 10 others, he has to start concentrating on his policies while continuing to attack Clinton on her record and history. I think that can be a winning ticket. I really do.

If Trump is the nominee I will vote for him

That's what Cruz, Rubio and Kasich said last night - yes, they will vote for Trump

I like Kasich but he's been in political office since his late 20s. Basically you don't get much more career politician than him. Once he left after 9 terms in the house, he worked for Lehman Brothers. He's just not the right candidate that people want to support in this cycle.

The socialist Jew is about done...as well as the GOPe candidates

I want a definitive stand...where are you?

I don't think Sanders is done. Let me explain.

1 ) The FBI could nail Clinton before there is a primary on New York or California.

2 ) Clinton has the black vote, but Sanders showed he can win states where they are fewer minorities. Sanders isn't going away. He's got the white liberal vote, and the young vote.

As a side note, my wife is moderate Democrat. Many of her friends are too. None of them like Hillary Clinton. If there's one constant about women is they really don't like liars or women who get played and remain with their man.

The Republican electorate aren't a bunch of fools, they know Trumps flaws and know he is not perfect, contradicts himself, insulting etc., which doesn't matter, because people believe Trump will either change the GOP or blow it up.

The Republicans said, "We have to have the House in 2010 to fight Obama." So we gave it to them. Then 4 years later they said, "We have to have the Senate in 2014 to fight Obama." and we gave that to them.

And what did they do? Nothing. Nothing but lie.

And some people wonder why Trump is popular.

Then to hear Mitt Romney the other day blather about Trump not being the guy to preserve "conservative values" was nauseating. He doesn't get it either.

+mother ******* 1000.

How can anyone with a brain be in favor of common core? Must be on the take.

Enforcing laws doesn't make anyone a bigot, calling an entire ethnic group rapists and criminals does.

Saying that a vast majority of the illegals coming across the border are criminals and rapists does not equate to calling all Mexicans criminals and rapists.

I'm in favor of Common Core.

I don't like the standardized tests but that's not common core. The common core method of teaching math is VASTLY superior to what we did in the old days. It's not even close. I have an engineering degree, took very high levels of college math and am currently watching how common core is working for my son (9) and daughter (7).

Common core is not an issue. You're being sold a pretty rotten bag of good on that.

We can talk about the rise of standardized tests. I'm against that. There's a lot of shenanigans with those tests and it's effecting the curriculum in negative ways in my opinion. I'm starting to realize that watching what my kids are bringing home.

But Common Core math is very, very good.

Common core is just having universal standards to prepare all children for the job opportunities of the future.
Kids in red states should have the opportunity to get good jobs that their parents weren't able to get with the
crummy red state education they received.

common core is ******* idiotic. I've sat in the classrooms and watched the teachers walk through how they are teaching our kids today...it is ******* idiotic

Public School Students Taught To 'Pledge Allegiance To An International Flag'

It is widely accepted that American public schools are controlled by liberals. It seems like every day, we see new examples of American schoolchildren being indoctrinated with left-wing ideas.

This latest example was brought to our attention by a concerned parent.

Kindergarten students from PS75, a public school in New York City, recently took part in a class project in which the children were made to create an American flag with the flags of other 22 other nations superimposed over the stripes. Below the flag read the words "We pledge allegiance to an International Flag.

Hillary Clinton promises to 'get to the bottom of UFO mystery' if elected

If elected she will release classified UFO files, her campaign manager revealed.

As the Clinton campaign passed through Las Vegas last month, campaign manager John Podesta told KLAS-TV Politics NOW that he has persuaded the Democratic candidate to open up the long-closed documents for the US public.

'I think I've convinced her that we need an effort to kind of go look at that and declassify as much as we can, so that people have their legitimate questions answered,' he said.

She added that Podesta 'has made me personally pledge we are going to get the information out, one way or another. Maybe we could have, like, a task force to go to Area 51.'
