Fellas meet Dan McCullers

McCullers' calf is as big as the thigh of the kid he is mauling...

They have to find a way to get this kid on the roster. Visualize young Dan as our fullback at 1st and Goal from the 1.

Great article. Rooting for the kid. Should be interesting watching him develop under Mitchell.

Rooting for him too! Heck, his ARMS are as big as that guys' legs.

The dude is a monster. I hope Rooney spends some time with him and finds him another good mentor. If he is at 20% body fat at his current weight, that is awesome. A little more conditioning and a few pounds lighter and he is going to be a starter on our D line. Maybe not this year but I think within 2 years, he will be a starter. Just a gut feel about the kid.

Just seeing him getting an open shot on Bert = broken joe. :-)

Please GOD let this guy become a cog in Pittsburgh's d-line for years to come! What a freakin' hoss!

Great article! Type of young man who could blossom in the Steeler organization. Together with Heyward and Truitt, this could be a young tough line. Just what the Steelers need. Hope he spends time with Joe Greene.

he's a roadblock, not a panzer.

LOL @ the Browns asking him what all he could do with a brick. as if those dipshits have a clue. probably fishing for ideas.

I would **** one if you draft me?

someone needs to tell him that Flaccid, Manziel and Dalton each pushed Archer down and stole his lunch money.

Here is the goal line plan. Line up McCullers in the backfield behind archer. Hand the ball to Archer, then hand Archer to McCullers. Score a TD every time.

goal line? we havent been on the goal line but five times the past three seasons. besides, you want to pass in that situation. to the TE.

Well played, ark. Posts like this one are why I'm happy to have the board back. Hilarious.

Actually nice article about the kid. He may develop faster than we think. He also seemed that he was doing better as a nose than a DT, even though he is a project he might take less work than some others.

I hope he does well for us.

I just watched the film from the 2012 game vs. Bama. Kid needs a lot of work, but with that frame it could be a really interesting project. Since he has the same demeanor as Troy I would love to see 43 take him under his wing.

I think you can't coach McCullers to be agressive and mean like Suh. Different personalities. I think you have to find a way to motivate him to play hard and agressive on the field even though off the field he is mild mannored. It's like TP he is the softest spoken guy ever but on the field he turns it on, maybe he can help McCullers with his motivation. Anyway, I had him as a 4th round grade because of his inconsistent play. One play he looks like Ngata the next he's just part of the play. I chalked a lot of it up to technique and coaching which can be fixed. But the fact we got McCullers in the 6th is a steal. I feel he has a very good shot of making the 53 man and being active on Sunday if he can at least get in on field goal blocks and goal line defense. Being as tall with as long of arms would make a great interior plug when trying to block a FG.

There needs to be a spot on the roster. All upside and a lot of heart in this kid. Could be a future icon for the defense

What would the Browns do with a brick? Lose.

Split wide or in the slot? ;)

Wouldn't it be easier to hand the ball to Archer, then hand Archer to McCullers?
