Fellas meet Dan McCullers

Gotta like a kid this size. Hope he can put it together and be our NT of the future.

goal line? we havent been on the goal line but five times the past three seasons. besides, you want to pass in that situation. to the TE.

I prefer seeing a double reverse run inside the 2 yard line...(somewhere Coach Arians is drawing up the play)

I think you can't coach McCullers to be agressive and mean like Suh. Different personalities. I think you have to find a way to motivate him to play hard and agressive on the field even though off the field he is mild mannored. It's like TP he is the softest spoken guy ever but on the field he turns it on, maybe he can help McCullers with his motivation. Anyway, I had him as a 4th round grade because of his inconsistent play. One play he looks like Ngata the next he's just part of the play. I chalked a lot of it up to technique and coaching which can be fixed. But the fact we got McCullers in the 6th is a steal. I feel he has a very good shot of making the 53 man and being active on Sunday if he can at least get in on field goal blocks and goal line defense. Being as tall with as long of arms would make a great interior plug when trying to block a FG.

That is the same thing that used to agrivate the **** out of me watching my son play sports, he was way too easy going. He was in Karate for years, before his competitions his Sensei used to have one of the older kids rough him up, just to light a fire under him.

Maybe Troy could teach young Dan to jump the line and land on the QB. Rog would get a kick out of that.

Different things for different people. I remember that DT from Jax Henderson had a ball boy or something slap the crap out of him before the game. I for some reason don't think that is what Troy does but who knows. If they can get him motivated nothing will stop him from being awesome.

I think of Dan falls on a QB he will kill the guy lol

Sigh...I hope and pray big Dan doesn't turn out like another promising 6-6 340lb man mountain with little body fat.

If McCullers snags Archer and spikes him, does he get extra points for creativity?

I think Joey porter can handle that part for dan lol

The labriola quote at the bottom of this article came from this site.... Unless labriola stated that over a week ago and someone from here stole it from him.

Those guys do it all the time. I think by the end of the season there will be lots of stolen quotes from here, there always are. I suspect there are even more than we realize because most of the folks on here do not follow those guys very closely, as they are not really that good as sports writers.

I hope they find their way to playing this kid in every game this year. The more experience he gets the better for the Steelers and the people watching him. Good Luck BIG DAN!
