My guess is Monday they put Howard on IR with a concussion and resign Roberts, but who knows? We should have a pool for how long tgey will actually carry 4 qbs. Elliot is already on IR designated to return.

So let’s talk kick returning…
Is it Wetjen, Eli, or maybe even Roman?
Would like to see all 3 get some chances
I’d make a move at tackle. But based on the roster they were working with he was a lock. There’ll be veteran OTs available.aint no way.
Why he is on the 53 remains to be seen. I would have kept Doug Nester as a back up tackle. At least we would have 4. SPencer Anderson played center , and we have Hoffman too. McCollum to me doesnt measure up.
Word out is he was surprised by the move and wished the Steelers well. Doesn’t sound like a team entertaining resigning him.My guess is Monday they put Howard on IR with a concussion and resign Roberts, but who knows?
I suspect they had Heidenreich running inside during the preseason to see if he could handle that role and are more comfortable with his receiving abilities. It’ll be interesting to see if and how much they use him as a 3rd down back. Not many surprises.
RB - I thought Nichols would make the team. Interesting to see Heidenreich is listed as a RB/WR. I still think he can be valuable, but they need to get him in space and use him more as a receiver than as an inside runner.
I heard Jobity has very impressive measurables. I guess his dad played professional basketball.OL - Not a surprise, but it was clear McCollum would make the team after Jones was traded. It still feels like we need an OT.
DL - I was not expecting Kevin Jobity Jr. to make the roster. Glad Rubio is on there, he seemed like a lock after his preseason performance.
Other than that, the roster went as expected. In terms of depth...safety is THIN.
