Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger: Kenny Pickett

I don't think it's a good look no matter who does it. Now if you are paid to have an opinion you can't just tow the company line all the time either I get it. It just always seemed personal with Terry. And let's be honest it wasn't just Ben it was the organization as a whole. There were a lot of chilly years.
I wonder if Terry will ever fully admit that going to the Steelers and Noll was the best thing that ever happened to him as a professional football player. He sorta does at times, then it's back to the crying. On one hand he will admit how he was an immature mamma's boy and needed the stern hand, but then Noll didn't kiss his *** enough on the other hand. The truth is Terry goes anywhere else there is a high likelihood he isn't a 4 time champ, he is not a HOFer, and therefore everything that has come afterward might not happen.

This is exactly how I feel about Terry Bradshaw. I wont downplay his importance. But, you could probably plug and play 6 or 7 qbs of that era and get the same result. Not so without Mean Joe.

Slow news month. What is even more amusing is fans on Twitter getting snowflaked over Ben's inner thoughts. For me it is an ok watch and nothing more. No big deal what the man thought.
Yeah, I do admit that it can be a normal human reaction. He really shouldn't have said anything...as probably any great player would

Can't get clicks that way. As I am sure that was the intent.

I've had problems with a lot of things Ben has said over the years, but this is NOT one of them.

I found it interesting how BB said Maddox and Batch were super helpful to him when he was a rookie. He said that is the way you do it. Except if you are BB and Rudolph was drafted... Wish someone would have asked that.

I like the show but it runs on too long for me. Rather they kept it to a half hour or so. But I guess after a half hour they're only two beers in and just getting warmed up.

Difference is that Batch came back home to be a backup and Maddox got hurt and wasn't playing.
Ben knew he was on the back nine when they drafted Rudolph and was like "F that, I'm not training my replacement."

Lots of people threw Ben under the bus for his last season, declaring him washed up and unable to execute the brilliant plays of the Canada offense. It is perfectly natural that Ben would then want the next QB in that system to also struggle so that people know it's the offense that sucks and not him.
