Missed the first half. Read JuJu left the game with a concussion. I have it recording, I can watch the first half after the game.

Really bad tackling technique on his part; he dove head first at the defender.
 
The pass rush was good, Moates Watt outstanding. Secondary still will hurt us giving up 3-18, holding, missed coverage. Hamilton had a good night receiving. Lets hope JuJu gets back on the field from concussion..
 
Forgot to give Watson his due, great effort some good runs when looked as if stopped, nice TD.
 
thanks all ..missed game ... so far from what I gather, Watt is hall of famed bound, Dobbs needs to start his lifes work unless he doesn't JUJU cant tackle and we might get something from a trade of Cobi.
 
anyone who watched, did our corners play more man to man tonight or were we zone with a 15 yard cushion?

Hilton and Watson played as advertised. Very encouraging.

I like Hamilton a bunch but he will get squeezed out baring injury.
 
I watched the replay on NFL Network yesterday. Here are my quick thoughts:

Front 7 looks good. Encouraged by the play of Watt and the backup D-linemen. Best part of the team by far in this game.
Secondary still looks putrid. No wonder the rumors they were looking at signing someone. I realize Mitchell and Burns didn't play, but they are still missing assignments, and Cockrell/Gay looked really bad. Gmen should have easily scored a TD on three different plays in the first quarter. The only bright spot was Hilton.
I'd cut Fitz and keep Davis/Watson. More power and the same vision. Might as well go with youth.
Dobbs throws a nice long ball. Hopefully he will improve with experience. Bart is going bye-bye.
Canaan, it was nice knowing you. Cobi will find a roster spot somewhere. Dobbs got chased a lot, so not much to sample from.

Agree with scstillerfan...Gay and Cockrell stunk in positions we dearly need improvement. I'm pulling for Hamilton he makes catches not flashy does his job, last year he made some nice catches some for TD'S then Tomlin would take him out. Davis, Watson played hard continued plays when they looked stopped. This week will be interesting if they can continue hard play. Our defensive line seemed more aggressive and Watts on his worse play looked better than Jones did on his best, looking forward in his improvement as year goes on. I even felt Dobbs did well , yes he started off bad but he threw some nice passes and rolled both ways with zip on the ball . His pass to the end zone had zip in between to defensive players for a td was nice except for the holding call. Watching the replay saw some good thins for first game.

i like watson and the way he ran tonight even though it was late in the game.
 
I like Hilton and thought Allen played well tonight looks like he can be a long term project.
