Franco Harris has died

Final respects to Franco Harris from 1-5 p.m. Tuesday at the PNC Champions Club at Acrisure Stadium. Stadium parking lots will open at 11 a.m.

The Harris family also said fans can commemorate Harris by making a memorial contribution to Pittsburgh Promise at www.pittsburghpromise.org or the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor Foundation at www.franciscanfoundation.org

Not sure if this entire halftime tribute has been posted somewhere. If it was, it doesn't hurt to have it in multiple locations. It looks like there are other videos as well.

 
Im pretty sure Seattle doesn’t view him as favorably as we do.. it makes me glad that later stars here like Ward, Troy and Ben didn’t try to hang on with other teams and have inglorious ends like Franco and Webster did.. i have no proof, but I want to think his advice to them was key in them making their decisions to just walk away

I did lol that they handled those rings like they were Jesus’ sandals
 
Couple years ago when Ron Jr. was working at the Heinz History Center the had a special display of Ben’s jerseys from the two consecutive games where he threw 6 TD’s and it was his job to drive to Heinz Field to pick them up and take them back.
