I don't know but read that the Jets are flying to meet with him. Guess the packers gave permission? No idea
 
Yes, the Packers have granted permission for Jets and Rodgers to work out a mutual contract but then the Jets have to offer something appealing to the Pack to make the trade happen.

There is a lot of incentives in it as well so he can make over and above that

I agree Paul, but most of those incentives are laced in a way that more likely than not, the player achieves about 1/2 the full value.

35 million incentives possible ............ 50 % ...... gives you 17.5 million ...........divided by 4 years ......... 4.375 million/year plus 40 Million ===== 44,375000.00 ..close to what he wanted ..... around 45 million

If i am the jets, i tell them the appeasing thing is that they get cap relief, a second round pick, and a chance to actually see what Love is capable of before they have to re-up him blindly with the added benefit of not having to deal with Rodgers late career theatrics anymore…

Honestly if they give up a huge package for him and take a huge cap hit back, they are idiotic … he is turning 40 this season…

Maybe they have some of the Haslam negotiating geniuses guiding them. It would be great to see a rich deal done quickly to provide another contract comp to mess with Lamar's head.

I hear yaz Comfluence, but I would like some way……. Some how to see Lamar get signed to a deal with Baltiwhore to mess up the organization from with-in.

If somehow the Rodger’s deal can do this then A-ok with me. Know though, that I’m not much of a Rodger’s fan either so I could care less about his arrogant success.

  • Trade for Aaron Rodgers!
  • Don't draft Pickett - he's already 24 years old!
