#1 Cleveland- Sam Darnold QB USC

Browns need a QB to develop behind Taylor. Darnold is probably the guy they covet as he has a high ceiling with having a lower bust floor than the other QB’s after him.

#2 NY Giants- Josh Allen QB Wyoming

It is only a matter of time before the Giants move on from Manning so this gives them the highest ceiling of all the QB’s in Allen, yet allows him to learn a year or two behind Eli.

#3 NY Jets- Baker Mayfield QB Oklahoma

Mayfield Is short of stature but not short on confidence. He has the thick skin to take the media pounding most QB’s can’t being drafted this high and he has the second best arm (behind freak of nature Allen) in the draft. He however is pin point accurate. I believe he starts before the top guys taken ahead of him.

#4 Cleveland- Saquon Barkley RB Penn St

The best player in the draft falls because in short RB is not a priority as it once was. But Barkley is a transitional player whom is dangerous as a runner or receiver. He really has no holes in his game and the Browns will need a Bell cow to keep their offense moving.

#5 Buffalo- Josh Rosen QB UCLA

The Bills trade up I believe for Mayfield but I don’t see him getting past the Jets. Rosen definitely has more physical ability but I feel he will a lot of supporting help around him.

#6 Indianapolis- Bradley Chubb DE N.C. State

The Colts sit still and let the draft fall to them. I think they hope Barkley falls but getting the best defensive player in the draft isn’t a bad consolation prize.

#7 Tampa Bay- Minkah Fitzpatrick S Alabama

Tampa goes defense and gets a stud safety.

#8 Chicago- Tremaine Edmunds ILB VT

Bears have always been known for their MLB play and Edmunds would follow that rich history.

#9 San Francisco- Roquan Smith MLB Georgia

With their starting MLB indisposed for 10-15 years on felony gun charges ‘9ers get a replacement.

#10 Oakland (Vegas)- Jaire Alexander CB Louisville

Alexander hopefully will sure up that secondary of the raiders.

#11 Miami- Quenton Nelson OG Notre Dame

The phins are spending a lot of time kicking the tires on the top QB’s but at the end of the day none fall. Nelson helps sure up the interior line.

#12 Denver- James Derwin S FSU

Broncos help sure up the secondary taking one of the most physically gifted players in the draft.

#13 Washington- Denzel Warn CB OSU

Washington gets a stud slot CB who will sure up the CB/nickel for them.

#14 Green Bay- Joshua Jackson CB Iowa

The Pack sure up their CB position having a guy whom will replace Tramon Williams before year end.

#15 Arizona- Courtland Sutton WR SMU

Cards get a WR to go outside and take the top off defenses. Sutton has the height, speed, and agility to be an elite WR.

#16 Baltimore- Mike Gesicki TE PSU

Ravens signed Crabtree and at this point has interest in Dez Bryant. They sure up their receivers by getting the best pass catching TE in the draft.

#17 LA Chargers- Mike McGlinchey OT Notre Dame

The Bolts sure up Rivers blind side and secure their LT for the next decade.

#18 Seattle- Marcus Davenport DE UTSA

Rare speed, size, and length and the Seahawks covet freak athletes.

#19 Dallas- DJ Moore WR Maryland

Moore has the speed and hands to be a #1 WR and after Dez was cut they need someone for Prescott to throw to.

#20 Detroit- Derrius Guice RB LSU

Lions sure up the backfield taking a guy who has great athleticism.

#21 Cincinnati- Rashaan Evans ILB Alabama

With Burdefect suspended… again the Bungles try to solidify the position.

#22 Buffalo- Harold Landry Edge Boston College

Bills get one of the best pass rushers in this draft.

#23 New England- Mike Hughes CB UCF

Hughes was a huge part of the Knights perfect season. He had 4 picks but he also returned 3 returns for TDs.

#24 Carolina- Christian Kirk WR Texas A&M

Panthers traded of Kelvin Benjamin and they desperately need a #1 receiver.

#25 Tennessee- Connor Williams OL Texas

Titans sure up their offensive line taking a player whom can play tackle or guard.

#26 Atlanta- Vita Vea DT Washington

Dirty birds get another stud defensive lineman to free up their backers and help improve their run D.

#27 Saints- Da’Ron Payne DT Alabama
Saints get tougher in the interior and should improve their 4.4 ypc average against them.

#28 Pittsburgh- Leighton Vander Esch
Steelers sit still and get a need and value with LVE. He’s big, fast, strong, and in his one full year starting was extremely productive. He can stuff the run, chase sideline to sideline, blitz, and flip his hips and run with a TE. Bostic should start but I think LVE plays in sub packages right away and mid way through the season is pushing to start.

#29 Jacksonville- Mason Rudolph QB Oklahoma St
Jags signed Bortles but aren’t sold on him at all. Rudolph should push him to play better or push him to the bench.

#30 Minnesota- Kolton Miller OT UCLA
Vikes protect their 90 million guaranteed QB.

#31 New England- Dallas Goedert TE S. Dakota St
Goedert might not be Gronk but he isn’t a slouch either. Bill loves two TE sets as well.

#32 Philadelphia- Orlando Brown OT Oklahoma
Brown looked like a top 10 pick until he worked out. Still, he’s big, strong and played well for the Sooners.

Cooch will be along soon to tell you why your mock sucks.

I've stated Id really like them to get Vander Esch, but if Payne or Vea is there within three picks I would have zero problem making a trade up to get one of them. Even if it was a third plus something else. Those guys are monsters and you can live with average behind that.

cooch loves Vander, hell **** the one year wonder label or the not up to par competition level. cooch loving him should be reason enough not to select the kid....

:pound:

if vea falls that much we should pounce to get him he will be like Hampton in the 3-4 and he can easily play de, a replica of Ngata, with him it would pressure butler tolmin use a 4 man dl front so many rotation options
de vea
dt hargrave
dt heyward
de tyson

you can rotate chickello hargrave heyward tuitt anywhere

To be honest I think Evans drops and LVE goes top 21. I hope the bengals try to “stick it to us” and take him over LVE. But that’s asking a lot. Unfortunately, I think there’s a good shot we draft Evans at 28. My other guess is Guice.

Would you take Guise if you could do a sign and trade for Bell with the Eagles for one of their linebackers?

How do the Bills keep both 1st round picks. if they move up to the 5th over all pick. no way the Broncos do that without the 22nd pick also.

Please someone anyone take Vander before the Steelers pick, please.

Not too impressed with the idea of getting Evans and his groin problems either. Just take Rudolph or one of the Safeties and move on to day two. Draft hardly ever falls the way we anticipate anyway.

Honestly, I don’t want him to round two or three. Kerryon John is damn near the same RB and it sounds like he goes round 3-4.

If they do go RB early I think that’s the end of Bell and he’d play out his tag and be an UFA next year.

Nice catch. I stole the draft order from espn who must’ve had it wrong.

No. If they take a Running back in the first two rounds its because they lnow he isnt coming back in the '19-'20 srason anyhow. Question is could tgey get him to sign the paper so they could trade him to get some value.

Isn’t that exactly what I said?

I’m sure they would allow him to seek out trade options

I think you are going to be wrong. I think he will be an excellent player and fit.

Always a possibility of wrong. But for you to be right the Steelers would have to slide away from how they do pick 1.

Big school + production + youth + athletisism = pick.

I simply prefer they stay the course.

LVE isn't the course.

Heath had a injury concern too and he turned out just fine. I would think a groin wouldn't hold them back from selecting him...

Nah, everyone and their mother thinks Mike Gesicki will go in round one. :thumb1:

Actually aside from that pick, I think Ford did a good job. One takeaway, since Dallas has cut Dez Bryant, it likely helps us, since they need a WR now, not a LB.

Guise has explosive feet and change of direction ability. His vision looks good, and boy is he fast in the open field. I like him a lot and IMO he'll out produce Bell as a runner in terms of yards per rush, big plays, and being able to covert on short yardage plays. His initial take off is a tad slow, but he picks up speed, and has enough of it to beat a linebacker to the corner. I see nothing wrong with his hands either. They looks solid.

"Don't waste your time on 2017 film because he wasn't even back up to his top speed until the bowl game. He will be the same player he was in 2016. If you had a grade on him after last year, you should use that." -- LSU assistant coach
