Game Balls, Game Goats, & FU's.........@ Bungles.......

I kinda get what you're saying about Tuitt, But everyone else in the real world gets three to five days and it's get your *** back to work. what makes these guys any different. Favre lost his dad and played the same night. yeah it sucks to lose a love one but life has to go on. so quit being a little girl and get back to work, or get on with your next life's work enough is enough
I never have responded well to death. Some people just deal with it differently than others. I lost what I was closest to as a child and in the process was left with not so great circumstances. So for me people suffering with losses takes on whole new meanings.Perhaps Tuitt steps up with his family and friends in need. Or a stranger on the street ...just so many different levels to a man or woman. I don't know him well enough behind the scenes to judge his manhood. But yeah the 3 to 5 days paid for a passing is fine by me if the company doesn't knock them for staying out longer. Let us not forget it was also mixed with injury. The team refuses to tell us the depth of that injury so that puts a little mystery mixed in with the situation. Anywho the team needs a lot more than just Tuitt. The holes are deep and the bad coaching and decision making runs even deeper.

How many above average guys does this roster have?

QB-nope
RB-Najee
WR-Johnson...maybe Claypool
TE-Freiermuth is a top half tight end already.
OL-lol, not a chance
DL-Heyward, keeping in mind he's the only starter healthy
EDGE-Watt
ILB-maybe Schobert, but I'd say he's just average this year.
CB-Haden
S-Fitzpatrick
ST-Boswell

That's 9 out of 25 "starters" that I believe are above average players. The rest are just guys right now.
I think you're being generous saying Johnson and Claypool are above average. I'd say average. And Heyward unfortunately is nearing the final years of his career. Basically it's a pile of slop.

I'm thinking his knee still isn't right or he'd be playing.

Highsmith has shown me enough to be ok with him as he continues to mature. DJ is very good. I will give the o line a pass to a degree because I think with an off season Greene and Moore will come a long way. They were pushed into service way to soon. We need a guard or two and at least one tackle. Turner isn't getting it done and Chuks is a backup. Not sure about Kdot. Claypool is used wrong and needs schemed better. Muth needs more targets in the middle of the field and Watt should get at least 50% of the snaps in a two back scheme under center. We are trying to be too cute with a line and line coach better suited to just being straight out aggressive.

If we start seeing more of that bullshit 3 man rush the rest of the season, Tomlin should be immediately fired. Everyone has known for years that almost never works yet he kept using it until most of this season. Then, yesterday, he takes a jersey from Buggs and moves Cam to NT. Then he proceeds to use 3 men rushing schemes again. I almost lost my **** when I saw that again. Absolute lunacy running that.

Nah, DJ is definitely an above average WR.
