The song remains the same! Another game, another futile effort by the offense! If the Steelers have proven anything this season it's that you can even take a 4x League MVP and make him use half the football field to move the offense up and down the field and they've proven beyond a shadow of doubt that's it's IMPOSSIBLE to be effective on offense.....yet Mike Tomlin still does it after 19 years as Head Coach! The offense looks no different with Arthur Smith as OC than it did with Matt Canada. All the pr00f you need to see that Mike Tomlin controls the offense. I might have seen one pass play over the middle of the field today.....and Jonnu Smith didn't catch the adjustment at the line of scrimmage by Rogers....if he did it would have been an Easy TD in the 4th Quarter. I have said all along I don't see this team winning another game this season and I still stand firm on that belief. Their only chances remaining would be against Miami or a meaningless game for the Ratbirds in Week 18. There's not much to say about this offense but they are the very definition of incompetent! 166 yards of total offense today against a Bills team that ranks 30th against the run and today we watch the Steelers run 17 times for 57 yards. I don't think the Steelers offense even posessed the football for 18 minutes the entire game.

Defensively we've always heard Tomlin say this Defense is not designed to be on the field for long periods of time....well today if it seemed like the Defense was always out there....they were.....over 42 minutes on the football field.....to say they were probably gassed is an understatement! The Defense doesn't get a free pass today because of a incompetent offense but for god sakes....I'm sick and tired of seeing Defensive players try to do nothing but punch the football from the ball carrier. This is bad Defense 101! Tackle the god damn ball carrier, square him up and take him down! Play good fundamental football and punish your opponent....that is how you play Defense. Tackling the ball carrier like a Matador and trying to punch the football out is not how you play winning football. 2 backup O-linemen in there today for the Bills......Steelers managed 0 sacks and gave up a Franchise record 249 yds rushing! AWFUL!

This was the worst team performance of the season! And perhaps one of the worst I've seen since the turn of the Century. This Steelers football team is just going through the motions out there on the football field. They are not FIRED UP, they are not motivated to win. They should be ashamed of themselves! They are just out there collecting a gamecheck and that is it! Mike Tomlin has lost this football team! He's gotta go! Ultimately it all comes down to him and his fingerprints are all over this Franchise right now and not in a good way. I honestly don't even understand how anyone can look at this Steelers team and not point the blame at Mike Tomlin. You've really gotta be snowblind to think the problem is not Mike Tomlin because it is and nothing will change until this bum is FIRED!

Patrick Queen - Contusion wasnt able to run
Jame Pierre - Concussion he's in the protocol


Game Balls:
Joey Porter Jr - One of the few guys who can actually tackle the ball carrier. I think he had 3 open field tackles on RB's today......His tackling has improved alot since last season
Brandon Echols - 1 INT, 2 passes Defensed

Game Goats:
Patrick Queen - Before his injury he was nothing on Defense except a Speed Bump against the running game vs the Bills
Steelers Front 7 - Absolutely blown off the line of scrimmage vs a patchwork O-line with 2 backup tackles. Gave up 249 yds rushing! Worst in Franchise History! Watt, Heyward, Highsmith, Herbig (Yeah You Guys)
Mason Rudolph - Why is this guy on the roster? He's ******* terrible! Backup or not....HE SUCKS! Skylar Thompson, Will Howard? Cmon man.....

FU's:
Mike Tomlin - This guy has lost the football team! It's time for him to go! He needs to be FIRED!
Teryl Austin - There's probably 100 or 200 other guys with Defensive minds that would be a better DC for this organization. WTF is he still on this coaching staff?
Arthur Smith - Give me an OC with a modern pass first offensive mind!
 
You pretty much summed it all up Chico. It all starts and ends with Tomlin and he simply must be removed as well as both coordinators and several position coaches.
Purge the roster and get rid of old and aging players.
Trade who you can with players like Highsmith, Watt, Queen, Ramsey. Not even close to winning with these guys.
Team needs fresh approach with young, innovative offensive minded coach. Roster needs to get younger.
I think we’ve all seen enough and had our fill of the Tomlin era.

-Rudolph is an INT machine when he comes in the game the last 2 weeks

-Heyward: talked **** to Allen then got punked- this guy has won NOTHING in his long career here. Always coming up small in the big moments

FU: Art Rooney II THAT WAS AN EMBARRASSMENT DO SOMETHING NOW, because your head coach can’t or won’t
 
I hear this defense could be historic. Soon hell will be unleashed! The 76 Steelers will be seen as mediocre by seasons end.



All I got is sarcasm and making fun of them. It's gotten so pathetic, they're not even worth getting upset over anymore.

The defense is historic. They set a record today for most rushing yards allowed at Acrisure Stadium. I believe they're also the highest paid defense in NFL history. We also had the highest paid non QB in the history of the league for a short time. Maybe TJ can hold out next year and get a another raise to get that title back.

I'm sick of people just bitching and moaning all the time 🤣

Get used to the bitching, it's just getting started. With each passing week the noise will grow and it should.


The consumers of this sports entertainment product have just about had it.

Unfortunately, that ship has sailed. They will probably trade Highsmith because they invested a ridiculous amount of money into the Watt contract and they will need to retain Herbig but not sure we will even get a late day two pick. Nobody in their right mind would take on Watt’s contract with his performance this year and forget about Queen. Ramsey is still a decent football player depending on what you’re asking him to do but he’s not going to garner much interest in draft capital.

I know your saying clean house, the entire house and I’m on board with that but the Rooney Duece is a day late and living in I want to be a contender every year fantasy world.

Game Balls:
-The fans who chanted "Fire Tomlin". I knew it was bound to happen, did not think it was going to be this week. For a huge game with meaning against a team like Buffalo, there were a ton of no shows and they knew better. Frustration has hit a boiling point. Sitting in the stadium and hearing the crowd boo Renegade was actually amusing.

FUs:
-Mike Tomlin and his staff - win a freaking playoff game. Another game getting totally outclassed with the same BS issues. He assembled this team and coaching staff and it's going to be a failure once again.
-ARII - It's about 5 years beyond time. Make the move.
 
I tell you what this team is really well coached at. The post game deflection of blame to anything but the players "execution" if they could block and tackle pass and catch like they do that........SB baby.
 
I’ve had a lot of apathy building towards this team and I think today was the tipping point. I’m done with this team. I hope they finish 6-11. That’s the level of effort I see from the coaches and players.

I said in an earlier post this past week how Tomlin is nothing more than a con man. Diverts the attention away from himself.
Last week after the Bears loss he led off his presser by talking about the Bear’s kicker kicking dirty balls. The spin on the ball was causing issues.
Then he went on about our punter who didn’t have his best game but he didn’t lose the game for us.
The con man was diverting attention away from himself and his crappy defense leading off with talk about kickers.
The guy is a fraud and con man!

But he is good at coaching the spin. The players are lock in step. They say the same bullshit every week. Anyone can see the difficiency. Like when they asked Tomlin about throwing over the middle. Like **** cmon. Admit it. You are afraid of turnovers. It's like 4 OCs and 6 or 7 Qbs. It's pretty clear.

Just watched the press conference. A lot of good football questions and Tomlin acknowledges they're good questions. I don't expect him to answer them in a PC, but it sounds like he doesn't have the answer.

A big issue is tonight was a quasi-playoff game for the Steelers. They had a chance to regain control of the division against a borderline playoff team and just got demolished in their own stadium.
 
Speaking of our front 7 and specifically the DL, Tomlin went crazy last night with his theory that having only 2 DL on the field and 2 smaller OLB's was a good thing to keep doing even on obvious running downs. He had 2 DL in there on 1st downs. Cook got 15+ on one of them. 2 DL just does NOT work. Tomlin refuses to acknowledge this to the detriment of the team. They got destroyed at the D line yesterday. This is 90% scheme and 10% personnel.

Yeah. It's borderline retarded. How can a professional think that this is OK, or how can his boss tolerate this?
 
I was going to add a bunch of stats like BUF rushing yards, time of possession, etc....and mention things like Pat F. not even getting a target, but I realized when I started typing this, I just don't give a F*&K anymore!

One Note to fans in Penn. If you don't have season tickets and still purchase single game tickets....you ARE part of this problem! Check yourself!

Yep, that's his Dollar General Tampa 2, he's never going to change that, he's to stubborn or dumb, or both. We do what we do!
