Game Balls, Game Goats, & FU's......Week 5 vs Philthy

Goat today is Tomlin to completely change the defense during the second quarter, Four and three man rush does not get it, Defensive backs were terrible once more. Eagles went up and down the field and the momentum shifted.
 
Gotta give a goat to Ebron for his fumble although and almost fumble, although that second one was a good play by the defender. He's got to do a better job wrapping up the ball.

Anyone know what happened to McDonald? Guy is invisible out there.

The other goat would be Hilton, he got abused by a practice squad player.

He is the main blocking TE now and said he is ok with it in an interview.

People LOVE Hilton because of his blitzing ability and think he's gonna get a huge contract this offseason. I think he does blitz well but is pretty average in coverage and has some real bad games in this area.

and he is a great player against the run, yesterday was a bad game in that department but he is a top notch tackler for a CB. He will get good money

I think he is rated as the best "slot" DB in the NFL. Philadelphia's WR (can't spell name) was physically over matched for Hilton to cover. Our DC should have maybe swung a little help his way or traded positions with someone. Hilton is very good YES his guy did a lot but look at what was their best receiver doing, Enz 1 reception on the day. Hilton had NO help as we took away their best RECEIVER threat and a low key guy managed in single coverage to shine. Hilton didn't give up and quit, he played as hard as anyone out there. Hilton is a keeper if budget allows.

I would definitely add him to the keeper list if possible. Besides who would take his place? Layne, Sutton? Hard to say if Layne progressed or not he was pretty terrible last year. Our record of drafting DBs lately has not been too good.
