I would have kept him for his last season here with AARon throwing the ball to him. Then after the season let him walk...but we didn't. And where the state of our franchise is at now....who really cares.

You forget to factor in the 4th quarter collapse. Unfortunately the below post from me aged a lot better.

Remember, we're talking about the Steelers here. Almost guaranteed that the D will go to sleep for the last quarter, so need a few 7's to build some buffer.

Steelers now have the most fourth quarter points against per game this season at 11.7 - next worst is Giants and Cardinals at 10.9.

We were winning when he got hurt. He was not the issue. Without him we have no one who is a free safety just a bunch of guys better suited to in the box and then we have Jalen who may have to be our free.
