Game Thoughts and Issues

As I stated before, we have NO physicality at WR which means we have nobody but the slowed down version of Heath to open up the middle of the field for us. Ever notice how when we played J-ville, their back-up CBs looked like all-pros? We have no one who can get separation except AB and no one who is willing or able to go down the seams to keep the safeties from playing up or helping the outside lanes.

Who is gonna be our Hines Ward or Jerricho Cotchery this year and start catching balls down the middle? We got nothin, IMO.

That has more to do with WHO is calling the plays than the players we have. J. Brown has been the one that goes to the middle of the field, when Haley realizes that we can use that portion of it as well. But again, we aren't having issues moving the ball. It's scoring, and right now that is 100% the play calling. We either go extreme in one direction, all pass or all run. There's no need to guess, no making them wonder by using the same formation to run and pass from. It's either a straight 3 TE formation or spread em out in shot gun. Who couldn't defend that?

That is the problem with the entire offense. You need to be able to run multiple plays from the same set. Hell just look at the clowns. They run 3-5 different plays from one formation. Their offense is so simple a High School QB could run it. They run the stretch and the power dive from the same formation. The best thing about it is that you can't tell what they are going to run just from the formation. You have to be prepared for all their plays even if they are very simple.

i'd like to take this post to point out that we did not run the bubble screen much, if any, Sunday.

therefore, the Texans will be **** SHOCKED to see us run it at least 5 consecutive times Monday night.

You're probably right Super BUT I hope they run them away from Watt's side as he already has picked 2 for TDs this season!

that is part of the problem. I am paid 1/100 of what Tombert is paid to fix problems and to anticipate the unexpected. I do a much much much much much better job than either dumb and dumber and yet I still have a ****** job and these ******* tards are still there. The standard is gone, we suck. Who is responsible?
**** you Tombert. **** you. Give me the keys to the franchise, it is not like I could do worse.

I'd bet you could.

I can just see it now. I bet JJ is salivating this very moment, thinking about the prospect of 2-3 pick sixes off of failed bubble screens.

*shudders*

Chose to keep Worilds over Woodley. Woodley may have had injury issues but at least he made plays when healthy.

It's worth mentioning that Woodley so far has 2 tackles, 2 assists and no sacks. At least Worilds has two sacks...
