POOP - why would anyone trust the government?
I never trust the people with the guns and armies and jails. I think their power should be restricted. I think that they act in their own self-interest above all things. I think that all governments ever created should have as few powers as is necessary to help oversee the country, and be limited in every act they take.
Every decade for the past 80 years those limitations on government authority have diminished.
And guess which party is pushing for fewer and fewer limitations on government power - giving government the power to set the price for health care, and energy, and tuition, and food, and travel, and airfare, and housing, and on and on?
If you said, "Both," congratulations - you are correct.
