This will be fun to look back on to see if it changed end of season as well as pre draft and then ultimately who the Steelers end up picking.

Here is AI’s listing, I will add my choice later:

AI Overview

The top quarterback prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft include Garrett Nussmeier (LSU), Drew Allar (Penn State), and Cade Klubnik (Clemson). Other notable names are LaNorris Sellers (South Carolina), Nico Iamaleava (UCLA), and Arch Manning (Texas).

Here's a more detailed look at some of these top prospects:

Idk at this point. I need to see how the 25 college season plays out before I pick one.
All I know is we need our franchise QB next draft and it’s not Aaron Rodgers.
What an embarrassment to a once proud franchise to be sitting here waiting on a 41 year old narcissist to make up his mind if he wants to play here.
Art should be ashamed of himself for allowing this.

Nico Lamaleava is someone to keep an eye on. he just left TN to go to UCLA. FYI I think he left toe Vols ove NIL money.. I think the kid has the ability to be a very productive starter in the NFL.

Yeah I was looking at Nico and Sellers. They have my curiosity.

I'll wait and choose whoever looks like the best prospect after the '25 CFB season.

I’ll wait until 2030 to see who pans out then go back in time to draft the right one in 2026. It will then be fun to see how badly Tomlin’s offensive philosophy messes that choice up.

None of the above

Our current franchise QB is on the roster, obviously

If I were forced to pick one of those over rated stooges to be Mason or Howard’s clipboard holder and warmer retriever maybe Sellers or (puke in mouth can’t believe I’m saying this) Klubnik.

But nobody in the first, that crop is a bunch of over rated project QBs. Especially the half breed Manning.

This class doesn't have an elite prospect like many years, just a bunch of guys with pretty good tools, so there will be a lot of variation in rankings. There is an analyst named Ryan McCrystal put them in tiers, so here is my pick from each tier (https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/analysis/nfl-draft-quarterback-rankings-top-best-prospects/)

1st Round
Drew Allar
Cade Klubnik
Garrett Nussmeier - son of an OC who had a productive season last year and a pretty good arm.

Could Be 1st Round with Good 2025
Fernando Mendoza - feels like a QB who could be on the rise at his new school and have read he has a bit of gunslinger in him.

Sam Leavitt
Carson Beck
Sawyer Robertson

Have to Improve to Be 1st Round
LaNorris Sellers - combination of size, speed, and arm talent is very intriguing.
Taylen Green
Nico Iamaleava

Tomlin in 2030? Ugg
That’s not implied. Tomlin would get the QB in 26, and likely screw him up before his contract ends. Then again, Rooney will most likely give him another extension.

it would be useful to figure out how many teams might need QBs next year to determine if the Steelers can even find a reasonable candidate at pick 20ish.
If 6 teams need qbs (Steelers, Saints, Faiders, Indy, Seahags +++) then it's gonna be very expensive in terms of draft capital.

They passed on Dart this year after overdrafting KFP 4 years ago. They should not have traded #1 for Minkah when Ben got hurt.
