God the media is funny

yet

yet Ben won 3 AFC Championships and 2 Super Bowls

Add in robbed of MVPs, both league and SBs.

Salute the nation

QB is the most impactful position in the field. Probably always has been. There are legitimate reasons why MVP has become almost exclusively a QB award.

For as great as Aaron Donald was, he never gets to a Superbowl without Jared Goff or Matthew Stafford.

Watt has arguably been the best defensive player in the league over the past five seasons, yet what do the Steelers have to show for it?
MVP is a regular season award, not a playoff or super bowl award. Watt has had a big impact in getting the Steelers to the playoffs multiple times. Aaron Donald probably also had a big impact on the Rams getting to the playoffs to be in a position to get to and win the super bowl (I say probably as I don't follow the Rams so can't say for sure his impact was that much of a difference maker).

If Ben hadn’t been a PERCEIVED womanizing doucebag the early years, he would have been the media darling. Ben created his own image problems. I hate to think how much more money he would have earned during his career, if he would have made better choices early on.

This.

Ben was looked at as a rapist, while Lamar - who is an amazing athlete by the way - has other considerations that make him preferable.
