An ISIS terrorist who launched the Paris attacks that killed 130 people has been awarded £450 in compensation.

Salah Abdeslam, 29, faces multiple life sentences for his alleged crimes - but has been awarded the payment for a breach of his privacy in prison. A court in Versailles, west of Paris, ruled that surveillance cameras watching him 24 hours a day in a solitary confinement cell breached his right to a private life.

Abdeslam remains in solitary confinement at Fleury-Merogis, the largest prison in Europe, near Paris. He has already received a 20-year prison sentence in Belgium for taking part in a shoot-out with police in Brussels in 2016. It came three days before his arrest while on the run following the Friday 13 onslaught on Paris.

Abdeslam, a French national from a Moroccan background, was part of a group of suicide bombers who caused carnage at the Stade de France, cafes and restaurants, and the Bataclan music venue. All blew themselves up or were shot dead by police, but Abdeslam abandoned his mission at France’s national stadium during a football international between France and Germany and went on the run.

The attackers killed a total of 130 people, including 89 at the Bataclan, while more than 410 others were wounded.

A .44 magnum and about 1/2 of a second and that's all she wrote. No reason for 24 hour surveillance.

Lol. When will that country ever not bend over.

He got ripped off. Had it been in Canada, he would receive millions. Just ask Omar Khdar.

I suspected you preferred the .44 magnum. Revolver?

My co-worker/buddy is a huge gun guy (he says he may have 5000 rounds when I mentioned what you guys had), and he said this is the best, no-nonsense weapon for home self-defense (especially for novices like me):

Yeah, revolvers are a no-fail choice. Since revolvers are double-action, the first round can take some pressure on the trigger, usually about 11 lbs. However, **** the hammer and you are set to go at about 1.5 to 2.0 lbs.

The revolver you show is a .357, which shoots a .357 magnum. That round is a mini-cannon. For comparison:

Would not recommend for petite women, for example, or anybody with weak grip, wrist problems, etc. as the kick on that thing will send it back into your face if you don't have a good grip on the thing.

Oh, and P.S. Not what I have - what my neighbor has. Lost my **** in a boating accident a few months ago.

Can the victims families sue him for, i don't know, 450 pounds?

Yeah I thought I edited it real quick to include it was a .357 mag (apparently not) but again, you are on your toes. All that content you wrote and the picture, geez.

And my next gun, so help me God, is it going to be that Walther PPQ you've mentioned here before. My gun nut friend says I'm going to regret it with all the meticulous maintenance I'm going to have to perform, but I've shot it and I fell in love with it's trigger action and the compact look & feel.

I like the .357 better because you can practice with .38 rounds. I have a few of them. I have a 2 S&W. One was a patrol pistol back in the 70s. And I have a Stainless 8" 686:
