Greatest throw and catch??

The steelers were ahead when Bradshaw hit Swann. The pass Ben made won the super bowl, a FG does tie it, but it doesn't change the fact that the TD won the game.

As Franco mentioned, Bradshaw was lost for the game on that throw. Had he not completed that for the TD, the rest of the game would've been in doubt.

I know how corny it sounds, but I was terrified until the "Ben's game-winning drives" graphic came up. My win expectancy jumped from 10% to about 80% at that moment.

It doesnt cause i went from losing my mind to totally calm and confident in seconds.

The late Steve Sabol of NFL Films called the Holmes catch the greatest catch in NFL history. He based his assertion on the difficulty of the catch along with the fact that it won the Super Bowl. Sabol probably saw every big play in NFL history from different and unique camera angles. For him to call the Holmes catch the greatest in NFL history is all the verification you need.

You can argue the Harrison INT is the greatest defensive play in NFL history. Take into account that the Cards were inside the 5 and if they score a TD they game is completely different and they probably win. Even if they get the chip shot FG, they would have all the momentum.

Now factor in that if Harrison doesn't score, it's likely the end of the half and the steelers get nothing. That play was a 10-14 point swing.

I would put the 73 yard bomb to Stallworth ahead of the 64 yarder to Swann, The Steelers were behind when Brad went deep to Stallworth.
