This is why you keep Dotson this year and cut Green. If something were to happen to Cole and you absolutely had to move Daniels to Center, because Herbig's shoulder (?) hasn't gotten right, Dotson is capable of playing Guard on either side. Green is not capable of playing Center or Guard at a winning level for a sustained period of time.

I don’t think anyone is suggesting they keep Green lol.

Herbig is undoubtedly the top backup at C or G. Jones is the top backup at T. If they keep Anderson he plays all 5 positions.
We may keep 9 ol but likely keep only 8. Based off of the past 5 years we just don’t keep a guy like dotson. Doesn’t mean things can’t change, but we are more likely to only have two total pure guards on the roster than 3… and if we do have a g/c or t/g type we often cut our best backup pure guard… remember that we really only dress 7 olinemen most games anyway. Its not like we have tons of backups just waiting around on gameday.

If Dotson makes the team, it probably means that Anderson wasn’t ready and they didn’t like Clark at both T and G, where he has both started atin the past…
