no it wasn'tand Tomlin only cares about him having another non losing season, That was clearly evident.

The show started with a montage of hard hits and fights from AFC north teams. They did not show Garrett assaulting Rudolph. I guess that gets memory holed now because the media likes to say Garrett is a great guy.
Because with Goodell’s softening of the league they are few and far between. That was 5 years ago...why would they include something from 5 years ago in a montage??

I didn't think Garrett came across poorly during the show, but he wasn't anything special either. The Browns OL coach just swearing left and right was trying way too hard. The show started with a montage of hard hits and fights from AFC north teams. They did not show Garrett assaulting Rudolph. I kept thinking, "dude, swear all you want, but you are still ******* getting fired after the season..."I didn't think Garrett came across poorly during the show, but he wasn't anything special either. The Browns OL coach just swearing left and right was trying way too hard.
THAT’S MY DAMNNN COACH BICHHHHESSSS
They had lots of highlights from 20+ years ago in it... some even back to the 70's
I never thought our 2 QBs would excel as they have. Props to them both. While I am not surprised by our D issues at times....I believe it is more of a schematic issue than talent issue. As in the coaches need to step up. We have talent. Put them in the best position to excell!!!! Trying not to get over hyped for a playoff game....afraid we will see our latest results. I am hoping Tomlin moves on from his past and embraces the future.

It's the problem with prebuilt storylines rather than letting the game tell the story. That would have been much more compelling.Disappointed there were zero moments with JPJ. Didn’t show any of the calls. I assumed talks with him on the sideline would have been prevalent. Would have loved to hear if coaches were balling him out or telling him to stay aggressive.
Also disappointing there were no references to Najee sitting out with what he said was stomach distress from too much Thanksgiving food at Freiermuth’s house. Teammates must have had comments on that one.
Broderick Jones is a character.
Russ seems well liked on the team which goes against what Denver people said about him. I guess it’s better when the coach tries to play to your strengths rather than set you up to fail and scapegoat you.
Herbig has the haircut of a man who lost a bet. It’s the 2nd worst haircut in the NFL behind Raider owner Mark Davis who looks like a special needs kid who is afraid of big scissors and clippers so mom does the best she can with a bowl and a small pair of nail scissors.
Of course you don't see the x and o part but clearly and unsurprisingly Tomlin is the best motivator of the four.
Just think some didn’t want to resign him. They thought he was washed.I always thought Fehoko was a big guy, but he looked small next to Cam Heyward. I think we all have taken for granted how good 97 is and what he means as an ambassador of the “Steeler way”.
I don't think leading the team is cheerleading. He knows the buttons to push and matchups that will determine the outcome. Best Cincinnati guy had was to call it a playoff game. They had 7 losses. That was a revelation?I don’t think anyone has ever argued the cheerleading abilities.
Salute the nation
This comment should be PINNEDI don't think leading the team is cheerleading. TOMLIN knows the buttons to push and matchups that will determine the outcome.
I'll be honest, I thought herbig was a bad pick in the 4th due to size and im freaking glad to be wrong. Still, give me Highsmith in early downs and send mad dog Herbig in passing situations when a breather is needed... or using the three OLB scheme. We all know TJ Watt is a football player. Nick Herbig is too. I know he was a popular selection in mock drafts on this site, but his develop has been a lot quicker than expected and I love the energy he brings to the field and clearly the work he puts into preparing.
Maybe Sean Payton is a satanist and hates russIt's the problem with prebuilt storylines rather than letting the game tell the story. That would have been much more compelling.
Russ is corny, but that isn't a bad thing. He puts in the work training and in the film room and unlike Denver, his coaches and teammates respond.
