The arrow is pointing down, obviously. If he were big enough to turn over some stones, he might get back above the line, so to speak.

But seriously, he was stripped of his return duties, his number of reps has been declining, and this past week he was a healthy scratch. He's either in someone's dog house or coaching/management wants to go in a different direction.

And no problem wirh any of that. Hasnt done anything. Doesnt mean he never will. Still wishing for the best for the kid.

I too, wish the best for him, but reality is, not this YEAR. Wasted pick in hind sight, hope he proves me wrong in front sight.

gotta dress him vs atlanta on that fast turf try a few toss runs and a reverse with him and atleast 2 screen attempts to him, just watch how Alex Smith throws a screen to Charles same way throw that screen to Archer with DeCastro @ Pouncey pulling.

Historically, we've had good luck with running backs named Harris. I say let him spell Bell more often and see how he develops. Bell needs a break.

(I'm a poet and didn't even know it, LOL)

They had visions of using him(Dri) as a WR, but dammit Bryant comes in guns a blazing and AB is unstoppable. Wheaton is keeping his spot barely, should be Bryant's soon with our free agent Moore battling Wheaton for the 3rd WR scraps that are left. But with those 4 looking like a decent core Dri would likely have to unseat Moore for reps. At least Moore knows the routes so since Archer can't return either where the hell do you fit him?

Suggestion: we love CBs under 5"10 and may at least be able to compete for reps there, I say work him out with the DBs and if he can't scratch his way onto the field there cut him...cause Ben can't see him when he is open on the field anyways. What good is he?

Lance Moore is 5'9"
Antonio Brown is 5'10"
Markus Wheaton is 5'11"

Ben can see them. Are you taking the stance that Ben can't see someone who is an inch shorter than 5'9"?

Football is a game if inches, maybe 5'8 to 5'9 is the threshold of visibility on the field. I'm not saying it is, but the cut off has to be somewhere. I honestly thought Dri was shorter than 5'8.

I know when wide open on the field Ben did not see him and he seems to be less polished with routes than the 4 WRs in the core. Just suggesting that maybe we try to find some value on the field for him so the 3rd round pick was not a complete waste. I know he probably can't cover, it's not like he can return, run or anything else so why not throw him in with the bunch that seems the weakest (DBs) to see if he can stick.
