As much as I hate to support even a factoid that comes from SteelV, per "psychology studies" (I use this term loosely), 4 in 10 women have these fantasies. You then have to get into the degree to which a fantasy is classified as a rape fantasy or not - some women, who like the idea of being 'overpowered' during sex had their responses classified as rape fantasies. When asked specifically if they want to be raped, the numbers are lower, but still a shocking 30'ish percent have the fantasy of being 'raped.' But even this isn't in context because this isn't a fantasy about walking down an alley, being thrown into a brick wall, having your face punched, clothes ripped off and brutally...ahem. So there's a LOT of sway around definitions when one gets into rape fantasies and what it actually means to a woman when she fantasizes about it. It's rarely that she fantasizes being brutalized, hurt, and physically and mentally scarred.

Now I'd really like to stop thinking about Bernie Sanders contemplating sexual fantasies or else I may never be able to have sex again.

Well, doesn't it depend upon what happened 44 years ago and what truth is being espoused?

For example, it has been several years since the Charles Manson killings. I'd say being offended by them is still relevant.

In addition, I hate broccoli. True, but irrelevant.

So, yeah, if someone wrote about women fantasizing about rape 44 years ago, yet is supposed to be a person who will champion women's rights, I find it relevant. More relevant, say, than whether Romney's dog rode in a cage on top of a car. What else I might find relevant is what his other views about women were. If they did change, what made them change. Does he no longer believe this ridiculousness or does he subscribe to the same studies to which SV subscribes?

People like porn. This doesn't have anything to do with rape, unless you equate people that watch porn with rapist.
