Having watched these games last two weeks

Yep. That's pretty much the sum of it.

There's nothing new they're doing in today's game that hasn't already been done.

It's all in how you put it together with scheme and coaching.
Eagles scheme and coaching has actually regressed, Hurts, AJ brown and the passing game have regressed.
Barkley is all the difference. They are not in the superbowl without him. He's that special.

Rather dispassionetely. It's pretty easy to see that the type of football the Steelers are playing has zero hope of contending in reality for the remaining two years of Tomlin's mandate before he is a lame duck. They could do well in FA. Nail the draft. I see them taking a flyer on Fields actually. A blind man can see Russ has a floor that will get you 9 or 10 wins but not a chance for more. Otherwise what else. Sam Darnold and his 40 million plus. But even if they do all the right moves it's still checkers vs. Chess here. Buffalo has pretty smart coaching. They have pretty good talent. After the turnover on downs under two min it got to second down. I said they are passing the ball. Romo said they are passing the ball. I'm certain everyone on the Bills knew they were passing the ball. They still scheme him open by 3 yards for a walk over first down. Then they did it again on the nail in the coffin sequence. That is what it takes at the Championship level. The Steelers could have every player from the Chiefs organization and simply not do that.
I agree with everything you said except the Bills coaching part. They lost a very winnable game against a beatable opponent due to coaching. Had they kept running Cook instead of having the choke artist try to play his ballhog hero ball along with giving crucial runs to the #3 RB.
The Bills can cry about the refs and they may have an argument there but at the end of the day they beat themselves.

If you think about it the Steelers aren’t in Fields best interests. Because he should know now that if he starts and plays well it is no guarantee the Steelers will continue to give him the nod. Last season should be his blueprint to understand what resigning could mean.
Shhh he might be reading

They took a guy who looked done and helped make him into mvp candidate. There was some bad moves. I didn't like two point trys and I think 4 down strategy with a wasted throw away play is idiotic. But it's chess and checkers compared to the Steelers.

Just remember if Tomlin were to be replaced there is absolutely no one else that could yield the spectacular results he has achieved. We in fact MUST stay the course with him as he is the ONLY one possible of achieving such sustained mediocrity.

The only thing for Art to fear is the fear of a new coach, he’s blinking…wish there were someone around capable of cutting off his eyelids
After Cowher's players were gone, Fraudlin perfectly exhibited he is MUCH better than an average coach, he's put up an average of 1 game better than .500 for some time.

You know, we should just call you the Parrot. You just repeat the same thing over and over and over and over and over again, no matter what thread you post in. It's the same garbage. I want Tomlin gone as much as the next guy, but you can't ignore ALL of what he's done. They did make it to the AFCCG in 2016, coincidently the last time we won a playoff game. But that wasn't Cowhers players...

One thing I think that stands out about the Steeler's players: who are the leaders? Do we have any? I remember leaders like Lambert, Greene, Bradshaw, Ben, Hines Ward, Blount and probably a lot of others in the Cowher and early Tomlin era. I can't think of any leaders on the team now. JJ is a great player but I don't necessarily see him as a leader in the locker room. Heyward may be one but he's close to the end.

I think TJ, Cam, and even Minkah are solid leaders, but they are all on the D side. We don't have any offensive leaders, Najee is as close as we have, and they are pushing him out the door. I think the team is just as split as the fans are as to which QB they want, which isn't helping in the leadership category. I think it's one reason they should try to bring Daniels back, I think he could be a leader on the O.

Heyward has always been that silent quiet kind of leader. It isn’t until recently that the media pointed him out as they had no other to address.

James Harrison lead by example, Ben was a true leader, on and off the field (once past Milligville),.

Minka had potential to be, Najee tried, It’s like LEADERs are frowned upon this day and age, with this team. Tomlin ???

Salute the nation

Only the biggest player playing, Big Ben. He came in on Cowher's watch but notably not from Cowher, he wanted an OT instead of Ben. Rooney overrode Bill on that draft pick.

Joey Porter was the last vocal leader I can recall. He was cut.

REALLY??? OMG I never knew that... One player doesn't make a team. JFC
