Tomlin makes the same as Andy Reid, #10 / 9 / 8 all tied at 8mil per

What does everyone think?

If I find a team total coaching cost I’ll try to post or feel free if anyone finds it.

I’ve gottA start snow removeal so I can get done in time to watch KC / Bungles game.

I think Tomlin is a likeable guy. But his never had a losing season personal accolades need to be taken with a grain of salt.

3 playoff wins in 12 games leaves A LOT to be desired. But to some he can’t be criticized.

I think if this team doesn’t make the playoffs next season, then it’s time to replace coaching staff and that includes Tomlin

I would love to see but cant find anything. I wouldnt think the currect group of assistant coaches get paid that much. Flores maybe being an exception to that.

Over the years I would guess that guys like Munchak, Haley, Ariens where not cheap.

I have no problem with what they pay Tomlin. I just want them to be willing to pay the supporting cast. Because if nothing else that needs either upgraded or added to the room on offense like they did with Flores.

I think that's one reason why almost everyone is an internal promotion from a lower level position. They don't have to pay as much as they would to hire someone away from another team.

I heard everything I needed to hear from Art the other day when he said he doesn’t really evaluate Tomlin.
In Art’s mind he’s got the best coach ever and pretty much gives Tomlin full control.
Art’s thinking is we’re always competitive, in it until the final week, anything can happen if we get into the playoffs approach, non losing seasons, ***** in the seats, Steelers brand sells, therefore he’s perfectly content.
I cannot argue with the fact that we’re generally competitive and in it until the end of the season, I just want more. I want to be competitive with the better teams in the AFC and have a realistic shot at the SB and not being envious of the ******* Bengals and Chiefs.
Call me spoiled but man it’s been a long time since we were considered SB worthy.

That's the thing, if you watch the playoffs you can see how far behind the Bungles, Chefs, and Bills we are.

Lets look at the team on the other side of the state for example. Won a SB in what, 2018 I think? Completely rebuilt, and might be headed to the SB again.....

Last time I remember the Steelers even sniffing a chance was when they got embarrassed by Brady and Bellicheat in 16.

I don't know if that's the case. No one is coming on a lateral move and a coordinator position will pay higher and provide a quicker path to a head coaching job than a positional coach.

On a side note, anyone want to throw out your personal top-10 NFL coach ranking right now?

Exactly. No one is coming on a lateral move (why would they?) so they can get away with paying existing people a little less to be coordinators.
It's not like other teams have ever been in bidding wars to hire Cool Shades' assistants.

didn't think you Southern states got snow ..............lol

We don’t, it’s just a figment of my imagination……………………….. LoL

Watch this KC / Cincinnati game, you are seeing real coaching. Actual offense and defensive coaching. AMAZING compared to our sorry *** sad sack coaching staff.

Andy won alot of games. but not a SB until Mahomes. Cincy didnt do **** until Burrows came along. same with Cowher and Ben and the cheater wih Brady. Great QBs make Great coaches. Hopefully Tomlin is looked upon as great theses next several years with Pickett.

I find it remarkable what the Eagles have done. Let Reid go. Went to and won a SB with their next HC. Fired him a few years later. Now are back in the SB with another HC. So much for stability. I read somewhere that if the Eagles win the SB they will have more playoff wins in the last for years then Tomlin has in his entire career. If that is true it is crazy how far we have sunken.

What is your thoughts on Dallas' OC coming aboard in some capacity?

Tomlin may believe that winning playoff games and Super Bowls are above his pay grade.
