Ben seems to be the this week jump on player, some of the other players aren't living up to their hype either.

Bad game or two? he has been mediocre all year.

So mediocre is ok for the year based on his past success?

or because we have **** for backups we should be happy with mediocre?

He is the one BTW who drama'd his off-season about retirement, so that and his performance this year sure makes it look like he is lame ducking it.

Besides sometimes a little criticism can help motivate.

Isn't like anything else has been effective to this point.

If Ben isn't 100 percent into it, then yeah he'll face criticism.
However he's only partly to blame. Management knows he's near the end of his time.
Maybe the front office expected Landry to be the next in line.

So these struggles are more than just Ben. I see a bumpy transition into the next era

There is a lot of good reasoning as to why people criticize Ben, some of it is justifiable. I love the QB but think he needs to step it up at this point. I've said maybe he needs t*mmy b*y's p[rescription?????? I don't think Ben has taken anything steroidal at all. He is all natural......
He will get it together and still pull in a way above average season. This team needs just a "little" different than what trhey've been doing. Losing brings out the MICROSCOPEs winning brings out the #7

Here's the thing, 2008 Ben could get it done without an OLine, he could extend plays for guys to get open, he's not that guy anymore. The OLine is playing like trash, no one can get open besides AB, so he's under pressure on most plays, can't extend the play to wait for someone to break open.
They need to revamp the passing game to some quicker routes, and that may mean less Bryant. Get Eli back in there, quit with the empty backfield ****. Bell can blitz pick up or chip then release to be the safety valve or try to get him on a mismatch, but the empty backfield crap has to stop
