How Do You Grade HC Tomlin’s Performance in 2022

They started 1-4, 2-6, 3-7, 5-8. Never really in playoff contention, but weren't mathematically eliminated until late in the last game.

Won 6 of 7, including 4 in a row to end the season. Kinda like scoring a couple garbage TDs at the end when you're getting blown out.

We went into the season with the retirement of Ben and the death of Dwayne Haskins. Let that sink in...

They came out on all cylinders and beat the world beaters (Cincy) right out the gate and TJ got hurt.

To go 7-2 after those type of heartaches... totally miraculous.

For what Tomlin and the team accomplished during the season I give him a B. I didn't expect much this season. Frankly I just wanted to see the team make progress.

If Tomlin replaces OC and ST coaches his grade goes up to an A-. The team is moving in the right direction for the first time in years. I like the overall attitude. Still lots of work ahead. Let's see if it continues.

Canada stays - I move it down to a C-.

Let's hope the pits get improved via the draft and Free Agency.
