Why does it always have to be an either or situation with you *****? Why not do both at the same time? Use what we have and work toward the future.

Because if we increase the supply of oil and lower the price then the Greenie pipedream bullshit becomes relatively more expensive and people will have no reason to use it. The only way Greenie pipedream bullshit works is to tax fossil fuels to raise the cost to consumers and use the money to subsidize Greenie bullshit to make it comparatively less expensive. It can't compete in the free market in its own because it costs too much.
