I want your honest opinion....why defer the opening kickoff on the road?

Steelers are something like #2 at scoring points at the end of the first half.

Why wouldnt you take the points and momentum going into the 3rd quarter? No brainer...

Yesterday it didn't make a difference, the team spotted the Jets 3 scores. The only option after halftime with first possession was to score 6 have a good defensive series then score 6 on the next possession making the game a one possession dynamic. Neither happened and although a nice highlight the late TD and lack of three TO's pretty much iced the game. Although you have to try, depending on the ball bouncing your way with an on side kick to at least get the opportunity to tie the game or win with a 2 point conversion, is like playing the lottery thinking you are going to win there too. But you never know right?

We are not really known for getting great field position on kickoff's. Do you really want the ball with a long field, a screaming crowd, and the Jet's pass rush and blitz package's Bet Rex wanted us to have it!
