Dotson in for Feiler longer. Of course I didn't want Chuks hurt. But clearly there is a blocking issue. If you are blaming the backs you are sniffing glue. I'm not certain they have the best five on the field. That coupled with Ebron blocking is hurting the run. I would like to see Dotson and DD inside and see if they can get a push. I would sacrifice a sack or two a game for a legit run game.

Hmmm .... Not sure you're looking at the right starting guard who Dotson should replace. Remember, the running game was doing reasonably well before our (still) injured RG returned. I am speculating that DeCastro has a lingering injury that is affecting his play.

Not impossible. But I've seen DD play inside for a long time and he is all-pro. Feiler played admirably at Tackle last year. Not sure where he should play but would like to see Dotson in there.

I think Dotson could give the run game a nice boost. I think our best OL is with Feiler at RT and Dotson at LG.

Definitely need more Dotson. He did very well in his time starting.

Also, seems like when it "goes" for OL, it just happens quickly. Not saying DD is shot. But, I am wondering if he's not on a downward trend.

Dotson was also our tackle eligible today with Hawkins out. This kid is good!

Be nice if Dotson could learn how to play center as well. Hassenauer doesn't seem like starting material. Pouncey is aging, and with Dotson's skill set, it seems like he could handle the position.

I would have liked to seen a screen pass to McFarland or maybe some misdirection with a fake end around one way and a pitch out to McFarland going the other way to try and get him in open space.

When I interviewed Dot, he was working with his brother learning how to snap after he was drafted. His brother was the starting center on his HS team.

I might be wrong, but I dont think Dontson has been able to practice for weeks.

This right here. The guy was a Covid positive. Doubt he practiced or conditioned at all the last couple weeks.

Would be good to have the position flexibility for Big Dot.

I really think he has been battling a lingering injury. He's fairly young yet and I can't hardly believe he is in decline already.
