If the Browns take Miles Jack in the 1st round, I'm worried...

The Browns traditionally pick a QB, and they need to find someone for when the RGIII era is over. Therefore, they'll pick a QB like always.

Yeah, cause that's what I said.
( rolls eyes )

No no, you didnt....your buddy did:highly_amused:

But seriously, the curse upon the browns is stronger than a thousand hue jacksons, believe that. Cleveland is awful, they'll stay awful still a while yet.

Myles Jack may fall

Jack’s injury appeared less severe, a torn meniscus that ended his UCLA career mid-season. But a report today called the long-term health of his knee a “time bomb” due to a lack of cartilage.

Bowen is credited with both reports here so hopefully his sources are good. Jack’s fall is also unclear but definitely less severe than Smith’s. Jack will remain in the first round but that’s about the extent scouts have been able to agree on. I suppose there even is the chance he’ll be there for Pittsburgh at 25, something I didn’t believe was in the realm of possibility a few weeks ago.

Maybe, but if the knee issue is legit and 24 teams pass him up because of it, would you want to take that risk?

Could be another Da'Quan Bowers.

That guy could never get his knees right again. His college tape was dominant.

i'd much rather take Smith from Notre Dame

Copied and pasted. From Steelers depot

I'd love for us to take a 2nd or 3rd round flier on him.
After medical recheck this past Friday, it's confirmed he doesn't play at all in 2016.....at least.
Besides Le'Veon, our two is usually a bust, so why not?
Can't waste that 3rd, though. Need our next stud WR.

I do agree that the PigPen-esque cloud of failure and bad luck is thick and heavy.
Their two owners since coming back in '99 have been worse than a Jerry Jones/Dan Snyder/Al Davis love child.
BUT.......
IF, huge HUGE if, if they give Hue a legit chance, they have a more than decent chance to begin to turn it around.
Hue is very underrated. IMHO, and he's thought of VERY highly around the league.
Of course it's all talk right now.
Time will tell.

For the record, I am NOT an RGIII fan but apparently Hue is.
He's supposedly the QB whisperer, so......

The Browns are under new leadership. Since I don't follow that team, I only recently learned this.

RG3's workout was reportedly impressive. Forget Washington: he showed real arm talent at Baylor. Accuracy and deep touch. Josh Gordon was his teammate, and is eligible for reinstatement this season. Hue Jackson is a gifted coach, misused in Oakland, that resurrected Carson Palmer from the recycle bin.

The gift of the Browns being run like **** may be ending. Like it or not, RG3 was a legit 1st round prospect coming out. Gordon is a game breaker. Miles Jack is the best defensive player in the draft. This may signal a change in the Browns bottom feeder status. Time will tell.

However: should they take Goff, who's by no means a "can't miss" prospect, we can expect the same old Browns for at least the foreseeable future.

But I'm worried. They're starting to make moves that make sense, and this division is already crowded.

EDIT: Corrected Josh Gordon's name.

you post this **** and then question whether someone else has "balls"

nutless wonder
