Initial Thought on clowns Game

It was genius to go back to back to back to MVS to end the game. I'm guessing nobody saw that coming.

That was the play that was called. Hard to blame AARon. Ball is in the air before the WRs break.

The blame was at the least on Tomlin in the 4th quarter not simply letting Rodgers run the hurry up the entire time....at least until we scored....which we didn't in the end. We had multiple drives start in good position. We moved to FG range and then we threw screens which lost yards. Even at the end of the game the Browns had 9 guys in the box. Everything short was being taken away but Tomlin still had us throw short.

This might be the most disappointing game I have watched that I could give two ***** about. Years past I would be all up set. After watching this game ....sadly I expected as much. And merely shrug.

At least the NFL gets their big match up next week. I have zero faith in us holding Henry under 200 yards. Throw in probably a near healthy Jackson. Could he an ugly game.

Hell....a 50% Jackson is enough most likely. Or Huntley.
 
You go where the route concepts lead you. I certainly didn't agree with that. Aaron Rodgers was least of the problems today. When anyone was open he hit them. It's like I said. They have one guy who forces matchups. He got himself suspended. Now you roll coverage on these chumps......they are cooked. I'm surprised they even got a chance.

Yet we still have a reliable Muth and Smith....at the end Rodgers started hitting Muth. My entire game plan passing would have been around our TEs......seemed like we just wanted to throw screens while the browns had 9 or 10 guys in the box. Up until the very end they were loading the box to take the short stuff away.
 
Muth underachieved???? What are you watching??? He went games with no attempts his way and the Head Clown said there were no situations where we had plays for him. The Head Clown (Tomlin) and the Offensive Crap (Smith) combined couldn’t coach pee wee football.

When the game plan is moved away from them.....what can they do? Muth was limited in his snaps this seaaon drastically. The use of the middle of the field is where a TE can kill you. Yet we load up on the position and simply don't use the middle of the field. Make it make sense. Prove me wrong.

I don't disagree with you. You are totally right. I'm saying if tge concepts don't lead tge ball to a place as you say the middle Muth can't put up 120 and 2 Tds. The Chiefs offense was built that way. The Steelers is not.
 
Mt Warshington seems to be fairly fragile...He must be Italian

Sorry. If you have a limp LBer in the middle of the field covering the TE.....you throw it to the TE until they make an adjustment....then you make an adjustment to that adjustment. We simply didn't throw to the middle of the field until Rodgers ran the hurry up. Hell cross a wr to the limp MFer....but you expoit that guy until they take him out. Maybe they replace him with a less run efficient player. Then you run right at that guy.

Tomlin simply doesn't let another team's injuries effect his play calling. I believe Rodgers might remember that.
 
Muth got you back to tie and Rogers and Smith ignored him. Really Pat should demand a trade, Tomlin once more wont throw over the middle, obvious he was afraid of Garett??? really for a stat. Don't try to be aggressive on offense for this reason, come on Tomlin. Forth and one Tomlin calls TO then OK's a rout in endzone to Miller. Once more lack of adjustments because a guy wearing shades can't do this and has proven it game after game as this. Had to be the most embarrassing, worse lost in fifty years.
 
I just think when forced Tomlin will veer away from his underlying philosophy until it feels like we're in control again and he reverts back to it. Play not to win but to make the other team lose. Statistically you'll be better than average (non losing season) but you won't beat the playoff caliber teams unless they turn it over multiple times. Like 4 or 5 because they will be aggressive enough against our conservative play to overcome a couple. It's safe and scared football and kills the careers of play makers.
 
The steelers really did choke this game away. That Shedur TD was an awful throw that should have been an easy INT by Dugger. Then they had that dropped pick 6, a missed FG and that stupid 4th down long pass that cost them points.

They could have wrapped it up and gave themselves a week off before the playoffs. Instead they have to win a death match vs the ravens.

Honestly who here thought we would do this for a 2nd year? I thought with Rodgers here we ride Pickens out for the season and then move on from him. Thay said. Looking at our O this season he would have been a waste. This offensive scheme is a joke. Sadly no one in Pittsburgh's front office realizes this.

Without Washington, Watt & DK we don't really stand a chance against Baltimore!

NFL Officiating is absolutely terrible!

Replay Assist is supposed to be used on every play according the NFL. It's pretty obvious it's only used to determine the outcome of a game! If it was used on every play we would have seen the call reversed on the final throw of the game and Pass Interference should have been called. Also in the first quarter the OPI on MVS would have been reversed because he never touched the CB. So don't tell me Replay Assist is in effect on every play during the game unless it's just getting ignored provided the outcome is beneficial to NFL viewership!

Dekaylin should be Team MVP for the Ravens after next week's game!

I put that all on Rodgers. I’m quite sure he’s the one that wanted here. And like he’s done with Metcalf a few times this season he locked in and you knew where he was going no matter.
