awesome start...missing a wide open TE

third down still sucks...and when they do get a stop..4th down is worse....****

Colts try to gift us a score and we refuse to take it

Who the hell is this guy #90 with the strip sack and fumble recovery???

finally a score and by Warren imagine that

back to back takeaways by the defense - who the **** are these guys???

offense still lacks balls you have the lead....but lots of time...go for the ******* kill

defense played well...mostly....but why the **** can they not make a ******* stop on 4th down...hell before that field goal I thought Indy should go for it there on 4th and 9

holding taylor to 55 yards - ******* miracle

Austin actually had a good game....DK was no where to be found

no running game today...passing game was so so...too many behind the LOS passes...stretch the ******* field

Wilson is a ******* idiot

6 turnovers and we only win by 7...great win, but damn it should not have been close

they have got to get the running game going and stop all the bullshit behind the LOS passing....

Washington had some great catches and Mutthhh with the big TD but DK disappeared....how can you not get him something????

gotta stop playing it so ******* safe and step on the other teams throat when you have the opportunity

coaching is still questionable

Love the big win though....

I was worried. It was 6 minutes into the second quarter when our offense earned its first first down. Defensive splash plays saved it.

So that Austin D has a lot of Marvin Lewis in it...
not his D. Coordinator stuff... his Cinci HC stuff... its all based on turnovers... Im not sure it wins in the playoffs, but ot can get you there

Overall, the Colts had been one of the more dominant teams the league has seen in awhile and the Steelers took it to them.

Don't let their garbage yards late in the game twist things. It was a great defensive performance against a team with both their QB and RB having MVP seasons.

The offense left some points on the board, but it's not like they were terrible today. Rodgers continues to play extremely well.

It's just frustrating because it makes you wonder why they cannot play like this more consistently.

Ramsey playing safety exclusively is a good thing. He looks a lot faster there than at CB at this point of his career.

Seen this movie before. I knew they would win today. Was not worried in the slightest. I’m not gonna get too excited. Still plenty of loseable games on the schedule.

That said, today felt like a revelation. The defense was fast, aggressive, forced turnovers and collected sacks. The offense was pretty solid but they still have issues getting out of their own way.

This team has potential. Just seems like if it can go wrong, it will. Today it didn’t. And that’s a good thing.

Steelers showed the NFL a blueprint to beating the Colts.

The Colts are SOFT!

Steelers Defense created 6 turnovers & 5 sacks

No real standouts on offense this week

DK Metcalf was practically invisible!

I hate this offense!

We have no running game! Even with the JUMBO packages!

Perhaps Ramsey should stay at Safety

Move Slay to Safety and let Pierre start at CB opposite Porter

Get Beanie Bishop on the active roster!

Peyton Wilson is developing into a very good ILB

Tomlin & Austin still look clueless!

Defense definitely played better creating turnovers. Problem is you simply cannot rely on turnovers every week. Your defense has to have good schemes and be able to execute those schemes.
That’s been the teams’ problems, bad schemes and poor execution.
Offense most definitely without a doubt must find a #2 WR. Aaron just does not have enough options.
Cal Austin is a nice option at #3 but not a 2.

Here's the questions on D. What did they do differently this week to make things click with pressure and splash plays. They came into the game missing their top 3 safeties, and the 2 S's they did have were only here for a matter of days. Ramsey helped. They were also going up against one of the best TE's this year and a 3-down back that many were putting in the MVP conversation already. They shut them down (You would think made more difficult missing your top safeties,).

So, what did they do or not do to shut the Colts down after their first drive until midway in the 4th when they had a good lead to sit back on?

Will Tomlin use that brain of his and keep what worked in this game moving forward?

They have another top O to play next week in the Chargers so we shall see.

Yesir!
The back end was much better without Thornhill and Clark in there.
I also thought 50 played a good game today...
Missed a tackle or two ...but very active inside against the run.

.
I think you answered your own question right there.

It's amazing what playing with passion will do for a defense. That's the first time all season plus the end of last season. The question is can they put together a string of games doing that.
People were playing like their jobs were on the line, or something.....

I know it seemed like DK was absolutely absent today, but i saw on multiple instances where he had his defenders beat on slants and Aaron just would not pull the trigger.
Agreed.
I thought his short passing game was sub par for him today.
Missed on several swing passes .

We live or die by the turnover and have the last few years. It is not sustainable, but when it works it looks great. When it doesnt work we give up 30+. I am not sure if our defense was good or Indy had a bad game plan. We did put Wilson and Highsmith in the crossing / slant lanes which helped. The cover 2 was still beat pretty easy several times though. I think Ramsey at safety was a good move and the other D backs played decently. I dont know if we stopped warren or Indy just did not target him enough. We did do a decent job on Taylor though. I think Indy should have bootlegged Jones or gave him some runs. Regardless this was a surprising win and makes up for one of the terrible losses.

Announcers said they simplified the D, players didn’t look confused anymore. Question is, why did this easy fix take so long?

When you hold Jonathan Taylor to 45 yards rushing and 7 receiving with no scores your defense did its job. And much better than anyone else recently. Their defense has also been great so I will take what we got on offense.

Warren on pace for 860 yards and 4 yard average as our feature back.....maybe he needs more carries?

Take the win, but… +5 giveaway/takeaway and they won by 7. That should give serious reason for pause.
Against the best team in the league to date with a previously nigh unstoppable RB? We made Jones look like the Giants version.
