The Pittsburgh Steelers practiced on Saturday afternoon in Latrobe, PA. This session, albeit short and lasting not even an hour, came less than 48 hours after their 28-9 preseason opening victory over the Green Bay Packers. Head Coach Mike McCarthy opened up the offense in that game, as three Black and Gold quarterbacks threw the ball for a combined 33 times in the contest. Of those 33 passes, 27 of them were for completions. However, there was a key aspect of the Pittsburgh offense that was absent in the preseason opener.
