JD would seem to be toast all of the apathy or ire is gonna be directed at him in the MIGA vs MAGA divide if this becomes a bog or an unforced error.
 
I can only speculate that the citizens of Venezuela will be better off with Maduro gone, likewise, the citizens of Iran have a chance to return to the freedom they shared about 50 years ago before the radical and oppressive takeover.

Both of these actions could go sideways, but the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
 
So does this mean Trump will take back the remaining F-14s sold to the Shah before the Revolution after Mav got one out during the sequel?

It's hard for me to believe that a country and intelligence apparatus could literally spend 15 years planning an elaborate pager operation and they probably spent years and years planning this operation could somehow get caught completely unawares on October 7th for hours when they're that militarized and surveillance-state oriented. We in the US certainly had to suspend the same type of belief with the narrative around 911 as we rallied around the flag for the endless War on Terror. And of course we're not supposed to ask questions about that or Epstein.

We've been played.

The great irony if that JFK didn't want Israel to have the bomb because he felt it would lead to an arm's race and destabilization of the Middle East and Ben Gurion resigned in protest in October 1963.

These are not unrelated fragments of random history but reverberate to this day.

JFK still stands as the ultimate cautionary tale to any US President.

I never defended Obama's approach with Iran, which was to both ignore their nuclear efforts while simultaneously enriching them. What person in their right mind would?

Trump & Co tried negotiating, Iran refused to concede. Trump destroyed part of their nuclear arsenal last year. They started right back up.

Now I'm sure you'd be ok with Iran getting a nuke and bombing Israel with said nuke. Rational people are not.

Trump will go down in history (positively, I predict) for this action, which has been needed for nearly 50 years. The people of Iran deserve better.

Have you ever researched the atrocities those civilians have lived under?

Keep hunting for that scalp.
 
 
Saw a tweet that said basically all of the people who opposed Trump in 2016 and 2024 or were at best pragmatic/tepid are with him now like Bolton, Graham, Shapiro, and Levin while Charlie Kirk is dead, MJT is out, Gaetz is out, and Tucker is persona non grata.

Seems like we're back to the the Bush neocons.
 
While I wish we would stay out of foreign affairs, it’s also not lost on me that if Iran developed a nuke, they’d also be exporting nukes to their terrorist cells. I’d rather not wake to the news of a nuke being detonated in Times Square, Mardi Gras, a sporting event or the like in this country - or any other country.
 
I'd say the Iranians are sick of Islam and the nutjobs that run it.
