CENTCOM’s Tuesday wave hit nearly 60 military targets around the Strait of Hormuz — air defense, radar, maritime assets, mine-laying, communications — while escorting 40 commercial vessels carrying 18 million barrels of oil. That escort was a wartime high.

President Trump, from the Oval Office Wednesday:

“They were trying to see the ships. They can’t see it because they have no radar, because we blew it up, and we blew up much more than their radar last night.”

I hope so but the war machine needs to have constant unrest in the Middle East. That's why Trump doesn't have much support for toppling the Iranian government no matter how repressive they are. If Hitler was in power these days and he made the powers that be great wealth they'd turn a blind eye to him.

Using the tragedy of 9/11 to justify senseless and costly wars is so 2003.

Atta was Egyptian and trained and planned in Afghanistan. Bin Laden and most of the other attackers were Saudi.

Iran had about as much to do with 9/11 as Iraq did.

The difference is Iran is larger than Iraq and Afghanistan combined and this war is going to be much more disastrous for the world.

Things are going swimmingly.

I read yesterday a historian called this unprovoked, unilateral attack on Iran, "America's greatest military blunder in history." It's hard to argue against it.

Trump and Hegseth have foolishly stepped in a hornet's nest.

This war, while epically stupid, is hardly America’s largest military blunder. There’s actually a pretty long list. If you are unfamiliar, read up on Task Force Smith. That one was so bad, it led to a complete change of US military doctrine after the Korean War.

I know when it comes to Trump, any time he does something the left doesn’t like, they act like it’s the first time it’s ever happened and it’s the worst thing that’s ever happened, and it usually isn’t.

Didn't want this but at this point destroy the group that took over Iran almost 50 years ago. Let Iran be free again. Wouldn't you agree?

Come on my guy. You know who’s out there throwing a fit every time the man eats, drinks, blinks, shitts, coughs, breathes. Yes, a small number of conservatives are FINALLY being somewhat critical about the Iran conflict, but you know who and what I’m talking about because you’re one of the people throwing those fits if your hundreds of posts about Trump are any evidence. If you want to have an honest discussion, I’m here for it. But playing coy about where the actual criticism of all things Trump is coming from is disingenuous at best.
