Is That It?

Are you smoking peyote??? This offseason has been the most EXPLOSIVE one we've EVER had; but yet you find a reason to complain...

That's rich...
Have to agree. At this point, we are typically watching other teams make moves. This year, we were making moves before FA even started. Sure, I would have like to see something other than a Chuks resigning but they made some good moves. They still have room to make a couple more but may wait until after the draft. They won't even attempt to sign DJ or Minkah until after the draft. That sucks but it's how they do business. And, they may not look to sign DJ until after Minkah is signed as he is definitely the priority. If they draft a WR in say Rd. 1, they could sit on DJ and try to sign him next year or franchise him for a year. I can definitely see that happening. My only disappointment is they haven't addressed one of their top 2 (1A and 1B) needs at all yet with the DL. They absolutely must draft someone in the 1st 2 rounds for the DL. Tuitt and Alualu are gone after this year, if not sooner and Heyward may be done in 2 years, 3 at the max. All we have left are the guys that gave up 200+ yards rushing 4 or 5 times later in the season. Loudermilk is on the rise. The other guys are veterans so, they will be more rotational pieces. The DL must be addressed with some young studs.

The Franchise Tag salary for WRs this year is $18.4 million. Do you really think DJ will get that next season.

He still performed best of all the OL the the Steelers trotted out there. So how bad do you have to be to give up 7-8 sacks if Ben always getting rid of the ball in 2 seconds...Again not saying he great, but it was a deal that was not over the top that the Steelers can easily move on from if needed.

The Steelers OL was terrible last year. Horrible. How many times did we see Najeh get the ball, and dodge and break tackles to get back to the LOS? Dozens? And the interior OL play was freaking horrid. Kendrick Green backpedaled more than Joe Haden.

So your insistence that Okorafor was the best of the bunch is basically saying that "x" was the most trustworthy carnie. I think at least four RT's potentially available to the Steelers in the upcoming draft (Penning, Faalele, Raimann, and Abraham Lucas) are better than Okorafor RIGHT NOW.

Lucas can be had in the 4th with the comp pick 138. Huge guy with a wingspan that very few others in the NFL can match, 4 seasons at RT for Washington State, great health history, good stats.

You're the glass is half empty type of guy, aren't you?

Seems like more of a "that glass is filled with piss" guy.

I ***** about things. First to say it. But some folks won't rest till they find something to complain about. Even if they make it up. As far as Okorafor goes, how much do you watch Collins play really? Cause the people making these multi million dollar decisions are watching every ****** play. They also understand their scheme and fit.

The Steelers off-seasons moves have been solid. No blockbusters, but very solid in filling holes and needs. They bargained shopped and got a lot out of their money. There are still some moves to be made. There is still time to sign more pieces and move money around. I don't think the art piece is finished yet to judge or be underwhelmed.
