Is the media is trying to take Trump out?

Haven't you been around enough elections to know what they run on never gets done?

What Trump says: Building a wall, deport illegals, pull back from Obamacare.

What would happen if Trump is elected: increase funding to border control, deporting maybe 50,000 of the 11 million illegals and a couple minor amendments added to the Affordable Care Act.

Nothing is going to change in a big way with Trump. Nothing.

What Obama said got done. Remember him saying he was going to fundamentally change America? Well he did. It is now law that every American has to buy insurance. Can you imagine that just a few years ago. The Federal government is FORCING citizens to buy a product. He's stop prosecuting immigration laws even though he said at one time he didn't have the authority. He's written many EOs that are totally illegal. But nobody cares. I want someone that does the same ****.

It can change. Hell it changed during Eisenhower's time. He deported a few thousand and 10X that many left because they knew they were next. People have no depth of knowledge and don't understand that what is happening today isn't the way it's always been. They think things are impossible because of PC bullshit and liberal theology. We'll it's happened before and it can happen again.

I want someone on my side that does the same **** and steamrolls the other party without caring what they think.
Fixed it for you.

Probably belongs in the other thread but I had to light someone up on FB a little while ago because they were bemoaning the fact that Boehner was leaving and won't be replaced with a moderate who would "compromise". Compromise means both sides give a little. When has Bomma ever given in on anything or agreed to what the GOP wanted? **** that, Boehner gave Him whatever He wanted.

Bush steamrolled a lot of **** during his 8 years in office.

The 9/11 tragedy gave him almost carte blanche to do whatever the **** him and Chaney and Rumsfield felt like doing. That wasn't good enough for you? You don't think Bush's 8 years in office changed this country (in whatever way you think) as much, if not more than Obama?

You guys are delusional in your belief Obama has done so many terrible, irreversible things to this country. Obamacare has not caused the collapse of the health care system. Christ, I could spout just as much "non-science" to Obamacare's collapse of the health care system as you guys spout about global climate change. It hasn't happened yet so why is it going do? It didn't effect my health care. It still snows where I live.

Kind of sound familiar?

You keep thinking Republicans aren't getting things done because they can't work together. How about acknowledging that all Republicans aren't the same anymore? That most of the Republicans in congress you seem to want to do what you want aren't really in your corner? That most Republican's don't want to pander to the Religious Right? They don't want to go on some moral crusade about marriage or abortion or gun rights? Things that don't effect 95% of people's day to day lives. Those issues don't create jobs, increase wages, close the wealth gap, reduce the size of government, keep us safe from terrorists, increase our political capital in world diplomacy or reduce our national debt.

Your frustration that things don't get done has AS MUCH to do with the far-right as it does with the middle-right. You're the ones that want to shut down the government over an issue that most Americans puts WAY DOWN on their list of "Important things Congress should be doing"? And you have the gall to complain they aren't doing enough to your liking? Calling them all RINO's and democrats in hiding?

That's what I mean that you are a dying breed. There's a good reason harsh right-wingers aren't in congress. It's because they can't get the votes to be there. And they can throw all the temper tantrums they want about God and Country, but you are the minority. And it's never coming back. Immigration and demographics in this country are changing further and further away from that.

Bush went to war but he didn't change the country much at all. Hell he let Kennedy write the education bill. He didn't do **** for his time because he was busy over sees. Also the dems have shut down the government before when they were in the senate. Like I said you people have no clue because you have no depth of knowledge. You don't realize that the dems have done the EXACT SAME THING. But somehow you don't remember that.

You and your dem buddies through a temper tantrum for Bush's entire presidency. You don't remember that? Yet some how they got a socialist POS in Obama elected. You think it's over but it's not. I remember when the dems were never going to win another election after 02'. But again you have no depth of knowledge so you don't remember that either.

The changes and taxes for BommaCare haven't fully kicked in yet and won't until He is out of office. That's by design because He didn't want to have to run for reelection on His record.

Comedy gold. You know nothing of what is going on with the GOP.

Please name the things he EO'd rather than went through Congress for?

No, I don't. Please be specific.

Wait....do you or do you not believe in agw? So confusingly worded. And as already stated we have yet to see the majority of the things that I believe will have even you, in the end, calling obamacare the disaster that it is.

Things that don't effect 95% of people's day to day lives. How do you reconcile the two bolded statements in the last two paragraphs above. Again, I'm confused.

Del's view of life seems to be "Give in to despair...take the droppings life offers you and move on."

Our premiums went up 30%, and our deductibles and co-pays are up too. Medications that used to be covered, aren't anymore.

And rates are expected to rise even more. Check out what's coming:

http://money.cnn.com/2015/06/02/news/economy/obamacare-rates/

What happened to, "If more people participate, rates will go down?"

The number of people working part-time when they want to work full time has increased by 50%. 75% of people who work part time are below the poverty level. Real household median income has dropped by 4.6%, and 5.5 million more people are below the poverty level. 255,000 more people who have been unemployed for 27 weeks or longer. 45% more people are on food stamps.

No, no effects at all.

Trump is now good as gone on the Repub side, his favorability will continue to drop off....since the "fair & balanced" news network has decided that he doesn't meet their expectations..

He is probably now second guessing his pledge of allegiance with the Republican party..

I believe he can get his mojo back, if he runs as an Independent. It still probably wont be enough to get him into the White House, but it will keep him relevant..

Trump's problem is he has no filter. He says whatever he is thinking at the time. Even if it's crude or even ignorant. Personal attacks on Rubio and Carly aren't going to help him. He could have been a real candidate but he doesn't understand why people like him. He thinks it is because of his brashness. It isn't. They like him because of what he is saying and because he is willing to take on anyone. If he had any couth he'd be unstoppable. But he has no filter.

Being a successful politician is "art"...and Trump's "palette" doesn't have enough colors in it.

I'm thinking in the end it will be Cruz or Rubio. Word is on Breitbart Radio that I listen to when mowing the yard that the big money is leaving Yeb Bush (that's what they called him, I thought it was funny as hell) and moving to Rubio. Rubio will be the establishment candidate.

I'd rather have Cruz. Rubio won't do anything to the border. Bush is done and has been for weeks now. He should step aside but he won't.

It looks to me that Trump would likely be a job creator, lower taxes, restore the American credit rating and create a pro business environment. Under obama, our credit rating was downgraded twice, money flowed to the BRICs and the new asian international bank. We need someone who understands macroeconomics, trade, job creation and currency value. This community organizer **** is clearly a disaster.

I think Bush will be in for the long haul. He'll wait for the Trump implosion and try to outspend the front runner into the primaries. He's already got the money, all he has to do is lay low, keep from doing anything stupid and wait for the final push.....kinda like Hillary 'cept without the FBI lurking outside his door.

The entire news media is one a full force blitz to clear Clinton of any wrongdoing. Unbelievable.

I know that is his game plan but I don't think it will work. None of Trump's people will vote for Bush. They are going to go to the next best real conservative. That's why I think Cruz is still viable.

In all fairness to Sarge...
Alot of us were a little "off" on Trump's elector-ability...
